Calum's POV
For the past few weeks have been hard for me. I've had no one to talk to. Ashton has never actually come around to talk to me at all. I've been so alone, thinking about that one moment over and over again with Danielle. She has seemed so happy with Luke, way more happier then she ever was with me. I really couldn't blame anyone but myself. I was the one who made the mistake of believing Allison.
I decided to call Ashton for probably the hundredth time this week. Again, he didn't answer. I thought that I should go over to his house. I wasn't sure if it was the best idea, but it seemed convincing at the time. I got in my car and drove over to his house.
When I got there, I knocked on the door and Ashton appeared in the doorway. Immediately a look of shock and nervousness spread across his face
"Calum, what are you doing here?" He asked nervously.
It sounded like he was trying to avoid me. But why?
"Didn't you say you were going to be here for me whenever? That if ever need to talk I can come to you?" I said sternly. I wasn't trying to mean, but I was really upset with him.
"I know but lately I've been really busy with school, music, and a lot of other stuff I just haven't gotten the chance to call back or anything, and right now isn't the right time" He said rushing through his words, making them sound even less convincing.
Then I hear someone call Ashton's name, a familiar voice.
"Ashton?"
I knew exactly who it was and exactly why Ashton wanted me gone.
It was Allison.
I got so mad at Ashton for basically using me so Allison could screw up my life. I didn't even have to ask him if it was true, the look of guilt on his face said it all.
"What the hell Ashton?" My voice came out louder then I expected.
To make matters worse, Allison came to the door and had the biggest smirk.
"What's wrong? Come back for me? Well that's too bad cause I'm taken" Allison said.
Her smirk only got bigger when I looked in confusion towards Ashton.
"Ashton?" I said trying to find every single way this could be a joke in my head.
Ashton just looked up at me and the same face returned, guilt, and shock.
I needed to tell Ashton that he has made the worst mistake by dating Allison. I guess Ashton was the only one left she could tear down.
"Can you go away so I can talk to Ashton?" I said trying to be calm with the most frustrating person.
"Why? So you can talk crap about me?" She said.
"I just wanna talk to him" I pulled Ashton's arm over to my car.
"What the hell are you doing?" I said.
"It's not as bad as you think" Ashton said.
"How can it not be that bad? You're dating the person that is practically ruining any chance I have of having any relationship"
"I know, but you don't understand, here lets go somewhere else. I don't want her to hear us" he said.
We drove over to my house and Ashton seemed back to himself, now that Allison was gone.
"Okay, I am dating Allison, but not for the reasons you think" he said.
"She asked me out after the whole incident with you and Danielle"
I tried to refuse, but I guess it's obvious that Allison doesn't take no"
"I know that she's been using me, it's pretty obvious, she's been trying to get me to tell her about you, any secrets you have. And now she's been trying to get me to tell her stuff about Luke"
"Luke?" I asked him.
"I've been trying to call you, but Allison's been looking through my phone seeing who I'm talking to"
I felt bad for getting mad at Ashton, when I thought he was using me, he was actually just another one of Allison's victims.
"But I've been getting something out of it too" he said. "Allison expects me to keep quiet about everything, she thinks I trust her.
"What has she told you?"I asked.
"Well first off, she knows about Luke and Danielle, now she's trying to split them apart, and she wants me to help. I've been trying to talk to Luke, but I can't. I know how to make this all go away, we just need Luke and Danielle to break up"
I was all with this plan, I didn't want to see Danielle hurt again, but seeing her with Luke hurt me way more then it would hurt her to break up with him.
