Danielle's POV
We got to school and Michael left to be with Luke, Ashton and Calum. Sophia walked me to my locker and tried to calm me down. My Anxiety levels were taking over and even though I was at school I didn't feel safe at all. I felt like everywhere I turned my foster mom might be there.
I went to first period Chemistry and just my luck, Calum was my lab partner. I walked in and Calum was already sitting there. I sat down and just smiled at him. He smiled back saying hi. While I was copying notes, I could tell he was looking at me.
I pretended like I didn't notice, but in reality I just wanted to snap at him to stop looking at me. It was time to do the experiment, which meant I had to speak to him. I felt so comfortable talking to him before, actually we were pretty close. Now everything was just awkward.
"Just add in the sodium" I said to him.
"Yeah sure" he said.
"CALUM" I shouted
He was staring at me then looked down. He put in the wrong thing. It said to totally avoid putting in the carbonate water. Calum did. I told the teacher and we all had to evacuate the room for safety reasons.
"Danielle I'm so sorry" Calum said touching my arm.
I just stood there waiting for the teacher to come out to yell at me. Calum got so caught up with me he actually almost killed everyone. The teacher walked out and yelled for Calum. This wasn't going to end well.
After class I tried to get as fast as I could to math to avoid any contact with Calum or passing by Luke.
