Luke's POV
Danielle fell asleep right next to me. She was sleeping so peacefully. I stared at her amazing check bones, her beautiful hair, she was beautiful in every single way. We were still in the park, but it was to dangerous to go out now. It was almost midnight so I decided to fall asleep too.
I woke up to a voice yelling at me.
"Who do you think you are?" The person said. It was a security guard
"Huh?" I said still half asleep.
"What are you doing here?" It's 6:00 am!"
"What's going on?" Danielle said waking up and yawning.
"You and your little friend are coming with me" The security yelled at us.
"What? We have a good reason we're here" I said.
"What is it then? You don't seem homeless to me" The security yelled at us waking us up fully.
"We were running from some crazy drunk at midnight who broke into our house" Danielle said out of no where.
"Do you have any idea who the drunk was" he said still not taking us seriously.
"No not at all" Danielle said.
"Why didn't you go back to the house" he said.
"We couldn't go back, the person could've been anywhere!"
"And it was midnight! We were tired and I guess we just passed out" Danielle said.
"You're lucky that it's early" the security guard said and walked away giving us a glare.
"C'mon lets get out of here" I said helping her off the ground
"I was hoping to never see a police officer in my face again" Danielle said.
"What do you mean?" I asked
Danielle never really talked about her past. Not just to me but to anyone.
"You never really talk about your past"
I said."Yeah I guess it's just hard to talk about" she said looking down.
She looked like she was gonna tear up.
"You don't have to tell me if it hurts to talk about it" I said.
"No, I owe you an explanation" Danielle said.
"When I was about 13, my parents left me, packed up all their stuff and left me alone in a house where I had no money, barley any food, and everything toppling down on me. After three long weeks of just staying in that house with nothing to eat, no electricity, no water, child services came and dragged me out."
"I moved into a foster home after a while of just waiting to adopted. My foster mother was an alcoholic who didn't give a shit about me, just the money she was getting from child services"
"Wow" I said. I never knew someone could go through so much and seem completely happy.
"Are you fine with it now, the whole thing with your parents" I said.
"I guess I've gotten used to it by now, people just leaving me in the middle of the night" She said starting to tear.
"No ones gonna leave you anymore"
"I promise you I'll never leave you" I said.
