The day went by and I was hurrying to get out of the building when I bumped into someone. I looked up and it was Luke. He was staring at me with my books on the floor.

"I'm so sorry" he says.

"It's uh fine I guess" I said. I wanted to roll my eyes and walk away, but I didn't wave to hurt his feelings.

"Are you taking the bus?"
He asked his blue eyes staring into my brown ones.

"Um no a friend is giving me a ride"

I say lying. I was going to take the bus, but I didn't want to ride with Luke. I don't want him to get close to me. I feel like if he does it's gonna end up going horribly wrong.

"Oh, ok um so Michael invites me over for some pizza later, wanna join?" He said.

I new that Sophia was gonna be there so I agreed. I walked out of the school and saw a familiar car. Then it clicked. My foster mom was here at school. I looked around to see where she was. I ran away from the school and darted for Jazelle's house. I turned around and saw my foster mom's car pull out of it's parking place.

I heard someone yell my name. Luke appeared behind me. I couldn't stop to talk to him I had to keep running or my foster mom would catch up to me.

"Danielle" Luke kept calling.

I kept running until my moms car drove the other direction that I was running. I stopped running and Luke caught up to me.

"Are you alright?" He asked

"Yeah I'm fine" I gasped for air.

Then Michael, Calum, and Ashton came outside and came towards her.

"Danielle?" Calum asked "Are you okay?" Calum looked deeply into my eyes. It felt amazing. I sat up and looked back in to Calum's eyes. Calum leaned in near my lips. I closed my eyes. I kissed Calum.

3rd Person POV
Luke watched as Calum kissed Danielle. His eyes looked down and he started to tear. He quickly wiped the tears he didn't want anyone to see him cry. Calum helped Danielle up and held her hand to Michael's house. When they arrived Calum pulled Danielle into another room.

"It's okay if you don't like me" He said.

"I do like you" Danielle said.

Calum pulled her into a kiss. Out of the corner of her eye, Danielle saw Luke, a disappointed look on his face. She didn't care. She made up her mind. She loved Calum now, and Luke wasn't about to chance that.
