Chapter 29: Shenanigans by doubles

3rd PoV

It echoed in the halls of the workshop almost hauntingly. A hand was slammed down multiple times. A whine sounded.

„Noooo! Turn that off! Turn that off!"

Lia rocked in her chair with her absolute brutal laughter, her fist almost creating a dent in her metal table. „Wait- wait- here comes the best part!" she wheezed the words out.

Her free hand clicked the mouse and continued to play the security camera feed. Camera four displayed a perfect angle to capture baby Knockout trying to eat his hand.

The grown medic held his hands in front of his face as Breakdown and Lia howled with laughter.

Stars' holoform stood behind Lia clutching her chair and holding a hand above his mouth, stifling his amusement.

Breakdown wiped a fake tear away. „You're still a handsome and respectable medic sweetspark."

Knockout puffed his flaring blue cheeks out and turned his head away.

„I didn't even know carrier had cameras here." Ratbat said. He was sitting on the other side of the base with his siblings watching the adults howl at the recordings of the incident.

Ravage yawned. „You didn't notice them?" Buzzsaw chirped. „I've seen a couple around when flying."

„You mean when hovering..." Frenzy murred out. „Not like you could actually fly around here Buzz."

„It's getting boring in here." Rumble agreed. The twins sat back to back, bored out of their metallic minds.

They groaned together when Breakdown laughed again. Ravage yawned again, Buzzsaw continued to stare at the ceiling and Ratbat tried to lick his own nose.

The symbiots were effectively bored. All of them.

„Do you think we could leave."

„You mean like the base? Or home?"

Frenzy glanced at his twin. Rumble had the same glint in his ruby eyes.

„The base Rav, we could explore home a little. We barely leave the base." Frenzy said.

The feline flicked his ear and made an affirmative sound.

„Oh! Oh! I wanna explore home!" Ratbat chimed up, all exited.

Buzzsaw stretched her wings out and hovered over to the adults. Ravage stared after her, while Ratbat and the twins stared at each other or him.

Buzzsaw landed on the table. Breakdown was comforting an embarrassed medic while snickering and Stars' was bend over giggling. Lia was taking in deep breaths like in a meditation and held her stomach.

„Carrier, can we go in the house, we're bored."

Lia, who only half listend and still snickering in bursts just nodded. „Don't disintegrate anything please." she wheezed out as laughter overtook her again.

Buzzsaw took a look at the security footage. Originating from camera four, forever frozen by the ethereal pause button, was a masterpiece of blackmail material. It showed baby Knockout trying to fit, not his but Breakdowns entire fist inside his mouth.

Buzzsaw shivered and averted her eyes. Then her gaze caught on a nearby footage from camera seven. Buzzsaw stiffened. It caused a split dagger to pass through her spark.

Buzzsaw broke gaze and fluttered off, mentally scarred. Ravage was waiting expectantly for her, the twins and the youngest already moving to the door. Buzzsaw set an haphazardous on his back, claws screeching as she almost slipped off.

The feline flattened his ears at the concerning noise and flicked his tail.

„What did you see?" he questioned. Buzzsaw opened her beak.

The twins were stacked up trying to open the door, but alas the handle was too high. The youngest only flapped in the air behind them, spectating the event like it was his favorite TV show.

The two eldest approached the three, not ever the same as before. Wordlessly Ravage got on his hindlegs and opened the door.

The symbiots left the adults to their shenanigans to plot their own.
