Chapter 13: Passing Days

3rd PoV

It has been a few days since Starscreams leaving and Lia was getting back into her old living habits. She had repaired the tracking program for Amayar and had a 3 day winning-streak at the Street Races in Jasper Nevada without meeting Knockout amongst the racers.

The girl had thanked every god she could think of for putting a tracking device on Starscream while she had fixed him and observed him and his vitals from time to time... like all the time, everywhere. Even over her phone. 

Also on her list of accomplishments she just found out how to handle her teleportations. It was actually just a portal wrapping around her body and spitting her out somewhere else. Finding herself on top of a pyramid at 4AM in the Morning was a new kind of experience for the girl. She could probably take someone with her while teleporting, but she didn't really had someone to test it with. 

Her illness hasn't changed much, it was progressing slowly of course thanks to her taking the medication. The curse had reached and almost fully consumed her right arm, her legs were already lost at this point and her back was starting to change too. 

So currently the girl was sitting in her pick-up, driving to the hospital in Jasper to get a new bottle of her medicine. 

She parked her car, got out and marched towards the hospital. Inside she went right for the small pharmacy store. It was truely very small, but hey. This was Jasper. Here was nothing really great. Ok, well maybe the burgers from that fast food place KO burgers were ok. But that was it. 

So back inside the pharmacy store Lia searched for her medicine in the small aisles. With her in the store was just a black haired woman talking to someone over her phone and the cranky old lady behind the counter. Just as Lia found her medication, she walked along the aisle, unwantingly listening to the woman's conversation before bumping into her.

Emilias PoV

„No, Jack. You can't go over to the base today."

Base?

„‚Why not?'  Well because you've been there all week. You should really work on your grades more than hanging out with the bots."

Bots? Wait is it already Friday again? Goddangit it is...

„I know that it's friday, Jack. I just don't care. You need to work a little bit on your grades, you can go there tomorrow, but not today."

Teenagers... idiotic party animals

„Alright then. Goodbye Jack." *beep* „Ah."

Goddamn can I not watch were I'm going?!?

„Sorry Miss." I quickly apologize before helping the woman pick up her medicine.

„It's alright. I suspect I should watch were I go while calling someone." She said and smiled when I handed her the medicine back. 

„So, Um, A teenager..." I say trying to start a conversation. 

„Ah yes, my son. He's a troublemaker sometimes, but he is a good boy." she answered. 

„It's not his fault though. One of his friends always finds her way into trouble and he tries to keep her out of it, but-"

„But he gets caught up in the trouble as he tries to." I finish.
