Summoning Novinae [On Hiatus]

3 - An Envoy to Novinae

Five days had passed since their first talks with Novinae and as part of a promise they made, they will be sending a delegation to Novinae to make their relation official along with uncovering the strength of the nation.

The reason that the order to "uncover the strength of Novinae" was given is to know if they could help and defend Atria against the Glorianes, a human theocracy that practices human supremacy and xenophobic beliefs. Their god, Girina, hated the demihumans as they were "impure" and heretics and their impurities stained the clean earth they're standing on. By eliminating all of the demihumans in the world, they believed that the world shall be free of any impurities.

As a result of their insane beliefs, many demihuman kingdoms nearby were invaded. Unfortunately, the local people weren't spared from the horrible atrocities that the Glorianes commited. This ranged from looting to entire massacres being made.

To try and deter an invasion from Gloriane, Atria had approached many nations for help, but most either didn't bother and ignored them - this being the superpowers - or were too weak to help. So, when the Novinae appeared, they were the last beacon of light they could rely on.

Which then resulted in a formation of a delegation to ratify all the points they've made and also try to gain military aid from the Novinaes.

The delegation is made out of the Foreign Affairs Minister Ivette, a diplomat and 3 other staffs from the Foreign Affairs Ministry. Currently, they were waiting on the pier, waiting for the Novinaes to come and pick them up.

Just when they thought they were too early, the delegation then saw two ships, one grey in colour while the other was white and looked luxurious.

Both ships entered the harbour and docked by the pier. A ladder was placed on the side of the white ship. They then were told by the Novinaes which is to get on the white ship.

As they got on its deck, they could see how luxurious the ship feels compared to the Novinae warships they saw before. The ship had 2 floors above the deck and one below.

When they were busy admiring the interior of the ship, a Novinae woman called out to them.

"Greetings and welcome to the HNMY Merino, one of the two luxury yachts that the Royal Family of Novinae use. My name is Neofia Crystia, princess and duchess of Skeap. It's a pleasure to meet you all."

Ivette looked at her and quickly came to realization that they're face-to-face with a member of the Novinae Royal Family. Neofia wore a casual light blue dress along with a sunhat. Her height was the same as Ivette's shoulder height and had a cute look on her too.

"I-Its our pleasure too, Princess Neofia. I do apologize if my nation had caused any trouble by sending a delegation to your nation."

"Hey, there's no need to be too formal. I'm pretty nervous if you do that. Anyways, I don't mind that. In fact, we were hoping that you'd be sending a delegation to our nation so we could give you a chance to explore our wonderful nation!"

The Atrian delegation couldn't help but feel calm around the princess. She had a kind and carefree personality, which is rare amongst nobles. Just how peaceful is the original world of Novinae, Ivette wondered.

The HNMY Merino and HNMS Skeapia departed from the harbour, beginning their voyage back to the Ouflia Harbour, which is smaller in comparison to the Aries Harbour.

While they were making their way back, Ivette had many questions to ask.

"Excuse me, your highness. Could I ask you something?"
