“Holy crap, y/n!” Dinah shrieked as the three of us walked down the hallway. “That was so smooth!”

“No, not really,” Camila countered, laughing at me. “Haven’t you seen her stuttering because of the green eyed girl?”

The thought of the girl alone suddenly made me smile, thinking about every contours of her face. The little nose piercing same as mine, her eyebrows on point, and the golden sparks on her eyes, complementing the sea of green and blue.

“You like her, don’t you?” Dinah teased, giving me a mischievous smirk as the dimples beneath her eyes form.

“What?” I chuckled innocently.

“Stop pretending that you don’t!” Camila added.

“There’s nothing to pretend,” I replied as I began to walk to my car.

“Really, y/n? The way you look at her, the way the sparks in your eyes started to show?” Dinah said, slipping in the passenger seat while Camila occupied the backseat.

“Trust me, I don’t,” I told them, quickly putting the car into drive and pulling onto the road.

Truth be told, I’m not really sure. I did found her beautiful but liking her within less than 30 minutes of talking is quite impossible.

“I told you, Dinah, she’s lying. Look at her, she’s thinking about her again,” I heard Camila hollered.

“Oh my God,” I exclaimed, laughing at the process. “I’m not thinking about her.”

I glanced at both of them, noticing the playful looks on their faces. I shook my head in amusement and focused back on the road.

“Well, maybe I do,” I admitted. “But not in the way you’re thinking of.” I quickly continued, not wanting to give them any ideas and make assumptions.

“Then tell us in what way, y/n,” Dinah beseeched. “No way,” Camila implored.

“Y/n’s fantasizing about her goddess Lern Jergi.” I swear if only I could throw Camila out from my car, I would.

I felt my cheeks heat up but managed to put on an impressed smirk.

“Shut up, Mila,” I said, trying to keep all my eyes on the road. “One more and I’ll pull over to drop you.” I added halfheartedly.

“Oh, you won’t do that; you love me,” I saw her bit her lower lip from the rear mirror with a grin plastered across her face.

“I could forget about that for a moment of time,” I simply replied, enjoying our millionth round of banter.

“You’re mean,” I heard her pout and I just laughed at her.

Dinah turned the stereo system on and Post to Be by Omarion ft. Jhené Aiko & Chris Brown made her scream in excitement. “This is my song! Hell yeah!”

She turned the volume to max that it almost broke my eardrums. I giggled with interest and jammed with her, Camila not thinking twice to join the little party going on. We began to sing with it, bumping up and down that made me hard to keep my eyes on the road.

We arrived home in one piece though.

Two days after bumping into Normani, literally, Dinah and I were waiting for Camila by her locker for lunch.

“You’re really inviting the whole basketball team?” Dinah asked, looking at me in disbelief.

“Yeah,” I simply answered, typing a message on my phone for my teammate. “They’d suspect something if they’re the only ones who are in my party. Not only the basketball team though; friends of friends, they’re all in. We need some props, you know? Besides, I got them all managed. Everything’s on hand.”
