"What's funny?" I asked, glaring at her as she lean back on her own seat.
"You're gay, right? What do you think?" She smirked mischievously that made my pulse go through the roof. What if I said the wrong words? What if I screw this up?
I gulped heavily and tried to remain my composure.
"It's okay," she smiled reassuringly. "I won't get offended. Just say what's your first impression of me."
"Beautiful," I blurted out, my mind not really functioning entirely. Not that I'm lying about what I said though.
She chuckled again, brushing her hair up flawlessly. "You know that's not what this is about."
"I reckon it should count," I argued, making her bite her lower lip and smile shyly at me. I cleared my throat and began with a more serious answer. "The day I met you with Normani and Ally I am positive that you are straight... considering the stories you have told me about your relationships, I assume you're completely straight."
I scrutinized her, examining every part of her face. She was grinning from ear to ear, but her eyes are somehow contradicting. It was darting right into my soul, full of mysteries and almost impossible to read. It's appearing like there's something she wanted to tell me that I couldn't fathom... wait, that's it! I can't read her completely because there's something has been stopping me to see it... I am mindset of her that she is straight.
"Or my gaydar isn't working precisely..." I trailed off, astounded about my previous discovery.
"Which makes the bottom line?" She raised her eyebrows, amused.
Now tell me I'm not delusional.
"You're gay?" I asked, still astonished about the fact.
"I didn't think I needed to tell you," she laughed mildly as I run both hands to my cheeks.
"This is ridiculous," I exclaimed, leaving my mouth open.
"You really thought I was straight?" She said, chuckling afterwards.
"Well, you don't look gay either," I replied. "I mean, we've never met before and when I saw you I was hell sure that you are because the way you dress and everything else..."
"Maybe you should stop stereotyping," she responded, meaningfully looking at me.
"I'm sorry," I apologized, slowly getting over with the revelation. Holy shit, I have chances for this girl!
"It's okay," she beamed, finishing her food.
After the little confession, I don't know if it was just me or we did became more open with each other compare to the past few days we've been spending time before. I am genuinely happy with that, knowing that this is an improvement for our friendship and trusting each other more.
