I told them the history between me and Brad's team. The reason why and how the tension began. Normani apologized for bringing them with her but I made sure that it's nothing she should worry about. Camila brought the foods over and now we're having a small picnic while telling each other stories about ourselves. It's good to see that Dinah and Normani are starting to get to know each other and I'm glad that I discovered new things about Lauren too. She shared about her family and her siblings, Chris and Taylor.
Ally was telling us stories about her family and it melted my heart when she started talking about her parents. On the other side though, Camila drifted off to sleep and was followed by Dinah and Normani.
"Is it that boring?" Ally asked, noticing the others already have fallen asleep.
"It's not," I reassured her. "I did love the part when you talked about your parents."
"Aww, thanks, y/n. Is Lauren still awake?" She asked, being positioned on my left.
"Yeaaah," Lauren answered.
"I guess I'm going to sleep now," Ally yawned. "Good night, y/n. Good night, Lauren."
"Night, Ally," we said in unison. There it was again; the comfortable silence between us.
Before I could even start a conversation, I remembered that I still have to put my bandage back since I took it off when I had a shower. Not to mention that my wounds need some ointments.
"Lauren, can you help me with my wounds?" I asked, shifting to the right to get a better view.
"Alright," she answered simply and I stood up, being followed by her afterwards. We walked to my bed and I took out the first aid kit from my cabinet and I sat beside Lauren to get it all done.
"Here," I said, handing her the ointment for my cuts. "Just, please be gentle."
She chuckled and glanced at me. "Don't worry, I will."
Having Lauren to do this was better than Lily. She's careful as she brushes her finger on my brow.
"This is really big. It's open, you should get it stitched," she said, holding my jaw carefully as she began to spread the ointment.
"I'll be getting it tomorrow or the other day," I replied. She hovered her finger to my lips and looked at me like a deer on headlights. I just smirked at her and nodded, encouraging her to go on.
"C-can we talk about it?" I questioned, not knowing the whole story between her and Brad. "I mean, if y-you don't want to... it's okay. I just don't want to be crazy and look like a psycho myself." I joked and she giggled. What a puppy.
"You're not a psycho," she said softly and beamed at me, causing my heart to bang against my chest erratically. "Actually, it's really nice of you to do that. You saved me, you know?"
