"Someone shut that dog up," whispered the team leader hiding along the banks of the river. He's going to give away our position.

"It's just a dog, they bark. They don't know we're here. We have to wait for the signal from the boss."

The ten men were laying deep in the grass along the river bank, well covered. Serkan knew the property better than anyone. He described where the best point would be for anyone to access to property via the river, it would be difficult for them to surprise them. The horses were out in the far pasture so that was one less thing to have to worry about Serkan thought or at least he hoped.

Engin had brought coms for them, "I remembered that Kaan was appalled that he had to talk to your security team via Bluetooth so I figured I would bring these. We can at least communicate. What about your guards?"

"Crap, let me call Atesh and clue him in."

Serkan called Atesh to let him know what was going on. He let him know that the five of them were headed towards the river bank to check things out but that didn't mean that the front gate and paddock area were clear. He gave Atesh a description of Engin and Efe as they knew Kaan well and Leyla was the only female. Serkan wanted to avoid a friendly fire incident.

"Serkan?" Kaan asked, "What do we think the trigger to start will be if it starts at all?"

The five officers crept towards the river, fanning out and trying to keep cover. They found out what the trigger was when they were half way to their destination. A large explosion rocked the front gate area. They all dropped in their positions. The intruders on the river bank rose from theirs and began making their way to the house and stable area fanning out.

They had no options, this wasn't a take prisoners deal it was kill or be killed, they all knew it. Engin had suppressors in his bag, they were using them thinking that it would give them an extra advantage. They all shot with them regularly because they changed the way that you shot.

Efe had the most advantageous position and squeezed off several rounds taking down one of the men. The intruders didn't notice that he was down. Efe's idea was kind of brilliant, he was almost coming at them from behind, taking out the ones in the rear. Serkan took out the next one with a head shot, followed quickly by Engin, Kaan and Leyla, they had dropped the odds considerably but had no idea what was happening up by the gate.

In the safe room Kemal, Seyfi and Eda were watching the screens. Aydan and Melo couldn't watch, they had no stomach for it. Eda needed to see that Serkan was okay, she had lost sight of them on camera for a while and was only now seeing them again.

To have something productive to do Seyfi suggested that they check the weapons that were left for them.

Seyfi, Kemal and Eda looked at the guns. "Eda hanim, what are you comfortable with?"

She shook her head, "Probably the 9mm. Did they leave any extra ammunition?" Eda checked to see that her gun was fully loaded and took a couple of extra clips.

Seyfi looked at her, "Eda hanim, since when are you familiar with guns? You handled that like a professional."

Eda gave a half smile to Seyfi, he knew what he was doing as well, "I had a modeling contract for an outdoor sports range for a year, they taught me how to shoot, load all sorts of things. It was interesting and it paid well."

"You know, with one of these rifles and from an upper room, we would have a better vantage point. I've never used one of these but I would be willing to try." Eda mused.

"Eda, Serkan would not be happy if you did that," said Melo.

Seyfi looked at her, "I know how to use them. I know everyone only thinks of me as a designer but I was in the military before design school. I'm trained in how to use them."
