Engin's shoulder required surgery. When Pyril found out that he had been shot Ferit had to drive her to the hospital she was such a mess. When Engin woke from anesthesia she was the first person he saw. He thought he was dreaming. Pyril took care of Engin and his shoulder, Engin took care of Pyril and let her know how much he cherished her.

Leyla came through the ordeal relatively unscathed. Serkan and Engin submitted her for commendations and a promotion due to her bravery that day. She only cried a tiny bit when she cleaned the bullet graze across Efe's back because she was sorry that it hurt him. He told her that it was fine, she could kiss it all better for him. Leyla thought it was a good trade and so did Efe.

When Melo saw that Kaan had been injured she commandeered a paramedic to take care of him. Kaan protested that it was just a scratch until he got a look at Melo's eyes. She really did care for him. So he let them clean out his wound, they sent him to the hospital for stitches, Melo drove. They would take it slow, decide where they went from here. Kaan thought that they had a pretty good chance.

The cleanup at the Bolat Estate took weeks. Aydan and Kemal opted to travel during that time to stay out of the way of any investigation. Seyfi offered to manage the restoration of the property, they gladly accepted. The different law agencies involved were tripping over themselves collecting evidence to round up any remaining members of the Atakan criminal operation.

Cases at the police department and personnel were scrutinized to identify potential plants. A few had been identified, others had tried to quietly escape but were soon caught. Alexander Zucco took care of the holding company, Selin Atakan had no heirs. The original holding agreement allowed him to absorb her shares into his, he cleaned house on his own.

Serkan learned a lot about Seyfi that day. He never knew that Seyfi had a short military career before going into design school. He was tremendously grateful for it though, the support that he provided that day was invaluable. Serkan never thought that Seyfi was a fighter, he learned that too. He also learned that Sefi was a fine shot, he took out Aptekin and many of his and Selin's crew.

Erdem would make a full recovery. Aydan explained that the reason that Erdem would always live at the Bolat Estate is that when Aptekin nearly beat them to death, a twelve year old Erdem had tried to save Serkan. Aptekin had kicked Erdem in the head so hard that he had suffered some minor brain damage. So, when he dropped things or forgot, Aydan thought it was a small price to pay. Erdem saved Serkan's life a second time, throwing himself in front of Serkan when Aptekin went to shoot him. Erdem cried when Serkan thanked him for saving his life.

The person who surprised him the most was his sweet Eda, she had nerves and a spine of steel. When Seyfi told him that it was her idea to take the rifles and establish shooting positions from up high he couldn't believe it. The thought of the danger she put herself in was overwhelming but then he quickly was overcome with pride. She knew that they needed help and did everything that she could to provide that help. He still got ill when he thought back to her taunting Selin, he didn't know about Seyfi at the time but she did and she knew he had her back. Eda was going to do what it took to protect him.

Eda would never forget when she saw Serkan take those rounds in the chest and fall. She had forgotten he had the vest on for a moment and thought she lost him. Thankfully Seyfi reminded her, it gave her the courage for what she did next. She was never going to let Selin win and she knew Seyfi had her back. She would fiercely protect Serkan from anyone who tried to hurt him, that was what they signed up for.
