Eda kept busy all day, having dinner with Aydan and Kemal then visiting with Melo in the evening. She listened to Melo's excitement over her new bodyguard, Officer Kaan Karadag. Eda just laughed, Melo got pleasure from the smallest things, apparently teasing the Officer was ranking high on the list.

Picking up her phone from the charger, Eda noticed that she had missed a text from Serkan. The text was over forty minutes old so Eda didn't respond, she would just say hello in person when she brought Sirius back. The two of them wandered over to the annex. Serkan wasn't home yet so Eda made herself comfortable on the outdoor sofa with Sirius, enjoying the evening.

The view that Serkan walked in on brought a smile to his face. Eda had her head back and legs on the table with Sirius' head in her lap, both asleep. He went and sat next to her, mimicking her pose. His body weight and warmth made Eda roll towards him. He felt like a teenager, using the movement to take advantage and put his arm around her to pull her a bit closer.

He was a bit surprised when he heard her say, "I'm not asleep, just relaxing." She cuddled up closer to him so he turned his cheek against her head.

"I'm sorry I was so late, sometimes it just works out that way."

"Hmmm, I understand, you have an important job, no need to apologize. Just relax." Eda wrapped her free arm around his waist and he covered her arm with his, pulling her closer. They both sighed.

He must have dozed off. Serkan woke, stretching his back, he was feeling both comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time. The warmth of Eda providing the comfort, the sofa the discomfort. His movement caused Eda to stir as well.

"I think I've lost all feeling in my right leg," she said, her warm breath caressing his neck sending shivers down his spine.

Sirius hadn't moved from his spot on her leg the entire time. Serkan leaned over to give him a pat and wake him to send him off to bed. The big dog didn't appreciate the interruption but hopped down and wandered off to find his bed.

"Why do you call him Sirius? Are you a fan of Harry Potter?" Eda sat up looking at him.

Serkan chuckled, "No, nothing like that. Do you want to see? I can show you if you have feeling in your leg yet." He stood and held out his hand, she placed her hand in his and he drew her to him.

"I didn't show you this yesterday," Serkan walked with Eda to a back part of the deck where it was darker. A large telescope was set up, he leaned over to move some of the dials and motioned for Eda to look in the eye piece.

Eda leaned forward to look, she gave a sound of wonder, "It's like all the stars are in the palm of my hand, this is amazing. So beautiful."

"That large star in the center is Sirius, the dog star. Astronomy has always been a hobby of mine, so that is how he got his name."

"Serkan Bolat, you are full of surprises," Eda teased as she turned toward him.

"Maybe," he said. He put both arms around her pulling her close. He had been wanting to kiss her from the first moment he saw her on the boat, he wasn't going to wait any longer. With one hand behind her head, he drew her closer, Eda placed her hand on his face, stroking his beard before moving it to the back of his head. Her full, soft lips drew him in, tasting them, a perfect fit. Serkan lightly sucked her bottom lip as she gave the same treatment to his top lip. As a first kiss it was perfection. They followed the first kiss with slower, soft kisses before drawing back and just savoring each other.

He drew her in for a tighter hug, Eda could feel his racing heart, it matched the beat of her own. She buried her nose in his neck and inhaled his scent, she was addicted to this man. As much as she wanted to stay right where she was, she also knew that he was exhausted, she saw it in his face earlier, he needed rest. Their time together would come.
