Alfie- Partners In Crime Pt1

The Peaky Blinders were well known around England, so was the Jewish gangster of Camden, Alfie Solomons, but just as the two men there was another gangster rising, YN YLN. Already well known to Thomas Shelby, YN and her gang had helped Tommy take down Changretta but now it was Alfie Solomons asking for her help.. well asking Thomas to get him and YN in touch.

"Who are you?" a young lad asks holding open the door to Alfie Solomons' 'bakery'
"Mr Solomons is expecting me"
"But errm what's your name"
"YN YLN" I raise an eyebrow at the young man
"Oh errr I'm not sure Mr Solomons has an appointment for you" I sigh rolling my eyes
"I don't need an appointment" I push past the young man who starts to panic
"Miss please, if your here for Mr Solomons for work then he prefers them later in the...."
"I am not a whore" I turn on my feet to look at the young man who I still don't know the name of, nor care to know the name of "now will you show me to Mr Solomons"
"Errm ok. This way" he takes the lead to an office. Before he can knock I walk through
"Ollie I told you to knock. Out!" I hear the rough voice of the man sat at a desk while doing paper work. I look at the man I know known as Ollie
"Erm you see Mr Solomons...."
"Out!"
"You heard the man. Out" I smile at Ollie then turn back to look at Mr Solomons
"Ahh Miss YLN" he stands up holding his arms out wide "well don't just stand there Ollie. Offer the lady a drink. Miss YLN take a seat" I sit down where Alfie is pointing, a chair in front of his desk. Ollie walks out of the room to get me a glass
"Thomas told me you needed my help" I say taking my coat off and placing it on the chair next to me with my bag also
"You helped Thomas kill Changretta right now I need your help"
"How do I know I won't get double crossed ay. You worked with Sabini also while working with Tom" Ollie knocks the door and walks in with a glass and some alcohol. He places the glass in front of me with a shaking hand and pours my drink. I take a sip and instantly taste rum
"Opinions?" Alfie asks me
"I'm more of a gin girl myself. Or whisky, Irish"
"Just like Tommy. The problem, right, between rum and gin, is that gin, right, it leads to the melancholy. Whereas rum incites violence, it also allows you to be liberated from your self-doubt"
"I have no self doubt Mr Solomons. Now you didn't answer my question"
"Look right it's Tommy Shelby innit. He'd do the same if it suits him"
"I heard you crossed the line with Tom. So how can I trust you?"
"What fucking line am I supposed to have crossed?!" I raise an eyebrow at Alfie's comment who looks angry
"That's between you at Tom"
"Tom? you mates or his..."
"Whore? no. Mr Solomons I'd like to know why I'm here, before I walk out in 5 minutes"
"I'm having death threats right. I don't know who from and Tommy said your the best at tracking people down innit and killing them without a trace. Better that those Peakys"
"That's very true Mr Solomons..."
"Alfie. Call me Alfie" he smirks at me
"Well Alfie, if I do this job, what's in it for me?"
"Whatever you want love" love? his he trying to flirt?
"I'll be in touch Alfie. I'll have one of my men send you a telegraph" I gather my things and stand up
"Won't you finish your drink Miss YLN?" and with that I down the rest of the rum "I'll see myself out"

Over the next few weeks my men and I work tirelessly trying to find out who has been sending death threats. Turns out it was just a gang leader wannabe. I open the doors to Alfie's distillery, walking past his men and over to his office where Ollie just walks out
"Oh Miss YLN we didn't know you were coming over. Just to warn you Mr Solomon's is in a bad mood"
"Well I'm sure the information I give him today will lighten up his mood" I open the door to Alfie's office and place the papers in front of him. He looks up at me
"What's this"
"Your death threat gangster wannabe. He's name is Nathan Holmes. 26 years old, jealous man who wants money" I sit down opposite Alfie as he takes the papers and starts looking at Nathan "now, my men have him in our warehouse, would you like us to kill and dispose or would you like to have some fun"
"Can't let you have all the fun now can I love?" Alfie smirks making me smile
"Well if you'd like to follow me to my car I'll take you to him" I get up and walk out of Alfie's office with Alfie right behind me.
While in the car on the way to my warehouse Alfie turns to me
"Tommy has a ball coming up. Are you going?"
"Are you asking me to go with you Alfie?"
"What if I am. Right think about it. Tommy Shelby, YN YLN and me Alfie Solomons show a united front. We will all be untouchable"
"We all ready are Alfie, but sure. I'll go with you"
