Shelby Clan- Favourite Maid

One of your suggestions was one of Grace and Tommys maids becomes I'll and collapses. Hope you enjoy.

YN YLN is one of Tommy and Graces favourite maids. Unlike most maids YN is actually friends with the Shelby's. Tommy specifically took a liking to the woman, but not in a sexual way. He just gets on with her.
Unfortunately recently YN hasn't been feeling well, Tommy and Grace gave her some time off for her to get better, but YN actually likes her job and boss so as soon as she feels slightly better YN is back to work.

Waking up at arrow house, YN slowly gets out of her bed feeling a pain in her chest. Trying to ignore it she gets dressed and heads downstairs to get started on Tommy and Graces morning tea
"Good morning YN" Betty one of the other maids smiles, but that smile quickly falters when Betty takes a look at YNs face "are you feeling ok? Are you ill again?"
"I'm fine" YN tries to reassure Betty who frowns not believing her. YN waits for the kettle to boil to make the tea
"Are you sure? I'm sure Mr and Mrs Shelby will be ok if you need a day off"
"Betty I said I'm fine" YN begins coughing into her hand. Betty grabs some tissue for YN who coughs into the tissue. When the coughing fit is over YN then notices droplets of blood on the tissue, but quickly hides it from Betty not wanting her to worry. She washes her hands and continue making the tea.
YN takes the tea up the stairs to Tommy and Graces bedroom. Knocking on the door she hears Tommy telling her to come in. YN opens up the door feeling dizzy
"Good morning Mr and Mrs Shelby" YN says trying to hold back a cough
"Morning YN. Just place the tea down on the bedside table as usual" Grace smiles at the woman. As YN walks over to Graces bedside table the tea starts to shake on the tray and in a split second YN is on the floor passed out.
Tommy jumps out of his shared bed with his wife and beds down placing the back of his hand on YNs forehead
"She's burning up. Grace phone the doctor" Tommy tells his wife as he picks up YN taking her back to her room and getting her into bed.

Waking up YN finds that she is in her bed with a doctor wiping her forehead with a cool rag
"Ahh Miss YLN your awake. Mr and Mrs Shelby were quite worried about you, especially with spilling hot tea on yourself. You have a couple of burns, but they will heal. Unfortunately though I believe that you have contracted tuberculosis. I have told Mr Shelby you will be on bed rest for a few weeks, you will eat well and once your feeling a little better you may go outside for exercise. I'll be back in a couple of days to check on how your doing"
"Am I going to be ok?" YN asks nervously
"Mr Shelby has said when your better he will pay for surgery to remove damaged tissue. Now best to rest up" the doctor replies but doesn't actually answer her question. He packs up his things and leaves YN alone in her bedroom.

Ending 1- YN lives
Over the days YN gets worse before she gets better. But a few weeks down the line YN is back on her feet, well kinda. She's able to go outside for walks about the grounds but is yet to go back to work. Tommy has got a surgery scheduled and payed for in a couple of weeks which should help YN to breath easier again
"YN how are you feeling today?" Grace asks at a distance while in the garden
"Much better thank. Im so grateful for all you and Mr Shelby have done in my recovery"
"Of course. Your the best maid we have had, and not only that your a friend" YN smiles at Grace who smiles back.

Ending 2- YN dies
Over the days YN gets worse and worse. Tommy calls the doctor when he notices YNs breathing getting shallow
"Will she survive?" he asks when the doctor arrives, checking YN over
"I'm afraid not" he sighs
"How long has she got?" Grace now asks, sadness laced in his voice
"A day. Maybe two. The best thing that you can do for her now is to help be be comfortable"
"Thank you" Tommy says showing the doctor out while Grace stays standing at the doorway watching the maid take short shallow breaths.

YN took her finally breath that day at 7:34pm. Her funeral was held a week later, it was a sad somber affair that broke the hearts of many. Tommy and Grace got a new maid, but they will never be as good as YN was.
