Tommy- Overdue

It's just a cute small one

YN and Tommy have been married for 2 years and are currently expecting their first child together. The baby is overdue causing YN to be uncomfortable, cranky and in pain. She wants baby out! Thankfully Tommy is being amazing, trying to help YN feel more comfortable.

YN waddles out of the bathroom and sits down next her her husband with a huff
"I want you out" she says poking her stomach to which the baby kicks her back in response
"Everything ok?"
"That's the 3rd time I've had to go for a wee in the last hour. I just want our baby to be here"
"I know. Me to. Francis suggested pineapples, you want me to cut one?"
"Yes please" tommy places a kiss on his wife's head before getting up and walking into the kitchen. He chops up a whole pineapple up putting it in a bowl and bringing it over to YN who hasn't moved at all from the sofa
"Here you go"
"Thanks" YN takes the bowl from his hands and plops a cube in her mouth moaning at the taste. Tommy chuckles at the interaction "what?"
"Nothing" Tommy shakes his head smiling "baby will come soon"
"I hope so. My ankles hurt, my back hurts, in fact everything hurts"
"Come here" Tommy pulls YNs legs on to his lap and starts massaging her ankles. YN sighs with relief.

The following day Tommy takes YN on a small walk
"You know, I heard that sex helps to induce labour"
"I am not having sex Tommy" YN says blankly
"Why not?"
"I'm 42 weeks pregnant, I'm as huge as a whale right now and in a load of pain all the time. So no"
"Ok fine. What about caster oil? I heard that helps or something spicy"
"Ok we can try a curry, but at this point I swear this child wants to stay in here. Definitely your child, stubborn"
YN and Tommy make their way back home slowly since YN can't walk very fast.

Tommy helps YN on the sofa, getting her comfortable before heading to the kitchen to grab more pineapple for his wife. While Tommy is in the kitchen YN starts to feel some small pains in her stomach, kinda like cramping. Tommy walks back to his wife with a bowl. She groans rubbing her stomach a little
"Are you ok?" he asks
"Yeah just got some cramping, guess it's my body getting ready"
"Maybe the pineapple and walking is working"
"That or my body is forcing this little one to leave" YN chuckles
"Eat the rest of your pineapple and then take a nap"

Over the next day YNs pains get worse and worse until her waters finally break and her labour progresses. Tommy stays by her side the whole time she is in labour and even for the birth of his little girl who they name Alice.
