I see you
You were on your way back when your phone buzzed. You answered it and put it on speaker."Y/n, where are you?" Jina was on the other side.
"I'm on my way home, why?"
"Nothing. Is he with you?"
"Who?"
"The guy from last night, is he with you?"
"Oh, Taehyung? No, he ain't."
She sighed when she heard this. "Thank god."
"What? Did something happen?"
"No I just found him really creepy and weird."
"When did you meet him?"
"He didn't tell you I came by in the morning?"
"No, he didn't."
"Okay. I officially don't like him."
"Chill, it must have slipped his mind. Plus him and me were just a one time thingy, you can relax."
"I know. Anyways, call me when you reach I'll come by."
"Okay. Do you wanna eat something?"
"Yeah. Get some donuts on your way back, maybe?"
"Got it."
Taehyung, meanwhile, could hear everything on the other end and he just chuckled.
So, your bestie didn't approve of him. No worries, you can always find a new bestie.
Actually, you wouldn't need anyone anymore once he's with you. Some random bestie can't come between you and him. He can always weed out unnecessary elements like her.He was currently following Hoseok's car. As expected, he soon reached a luxurious hotel, this was obviously where Hoseok was staying.
Taehyung had to get inside. He needed to find something, anything on him. But right now he can't, cause Hoseok would be in his room and it would be pointless.
So he waited and waited outside for Hoseok to leave the hotel and meanwhile he was watching you and Jina through the cameras he had placed in your house.
You were having so much fun with your best friend, filling her in with all the details, laughing and giggling. Your hands swinging here and there dramatically with your expressions changing with your every word. You're so silly and so goddamn beautiful. His attention from the screen shifted to the hotel's entrance as he saw Hoseok leaving.
Finally, his chance to snoop in."Hey!" He went to the girl sitting at the reception.
"How may I-" She trailed off while looking at her computer screen but as soon as her eyes met Taehyung's, she gasped. "Wow." She realized Taehyung had heard it and cleared her throat out of embarrassment, to which Taehyung merely chuckled.
"Don't worry. I get that a lot."
"And rightfully so." She blushed. "How can I help you sir?" She asked.
"Well actually I'm here to help you." Taehyung replied with a wink and the girl was blushing to the point her cheeks were as red as cherries.
"How so?" The girl asked flirtatiously.
"I'm here in place of the Janitor who has taken leave today."
"Oh. Right, you're here for that." She sounded a little disappointed.
"Yeah. Tell me where to start."
"Um. Wait just a second I'll go get the manager." She said.
"Okay."
A few minutes later the blonde receptionist returned with the manager.
"You're here in place of Hansu today?" The manager inquired, looking at him from top to bottom.
"Yes, sir."
"What's your name?"
"Lee Jason, sir."
Taehyung had previously overheard the conversation of two employees when he entered the lobby. He had known that the janitor would not be coming in today and some guy named Jason was supposed to come and fill in. So he stood there confidently.
"Okay then, you can get started." He instructed as he turned to the receptionist. "Help him out a little, you have your lunch break now any way, show him around and you can go have lunch then." The girl just nodded and bowed as he left.
Taehyung followed the girl closely behind as she led the way. "Here's the keycard, with this you can have access to the rooms."
This was exactly what he needed. Now it's time for him to find Hoseok's room.
"Is it true that the Korean-American business guy is staying here?" Taehyung asked casually.
"You mean Mr. Jung? Yes, he's staying here in Room 770." She replied.
Dumb bitch.
"I saw he's pretty popular. Always on the news and all." Taehyung said, not tryna look suspicious.
"He's pretty handsome too." The girl added.
"Oh. More than me?" Taehyung stopped and asked.
The girl was completely taken aback by the question. She was totally flustered.
"No. Not more than you.""Thank you for helping." He replied in a cold demeanor. He didn't have to play nice anymore. He had all the information he needed and the reassurance that he indeed was more good-looking. He was done with this dumb ass bitch.
"Jason. I was hoping we could catch up later." The girl shouted as he walked away.
And Taehyung didn't even reply.
He pretended to work around for a bit. And then made his way to the Premium suite.
Soon he was standing in front of Hoseok's room. He swiped the card and sneaked in. His entire face was covered up as he was wearing a black hoodie, and a mask. He can't risk being seen, he's already in trouble due to his past mistakes.
The room had nothing unusual in it, but that's how it always is, Taehyung thought. It all seems normal at first glance but you have to look harder to discover the twisted and dark secrets people have.
He strolled into the bedroom. A picture of his family near his bed. The bed was nicely done. But something near it caught Taehyung's attention.
A box. A vintage box. Secured with a lock.
"Of course it's locked." He smirked.
The only place left not searched by him was the bathroom and he wasn't expecting to find anything there. But he was so damn wrong.
When he entered he saw a picture of you stuck to the mirror on the sink. A picture you weren't aware existed. A picture of you naked in the shower.
Upon seeing this, Taehyung laughed onto his curled fist which was near his mouth. He wasn't shocked at all. He knew.
"So you are just as fucked up, Jung Hoseok." His eyes darkened.
"No, you're even worse."
