Alex laid in his wife's small bed, stretching himself and then flinching at the sound of something thudding on the floor. "Y/n?" He said groggily and immediately sat up to see what had fallen.

He blinked away the morning blurriness and hummed in acknowledgement as he saw it was just one of  Y/n's childhood stuffed animals, a huge Stitch.

He laid back on the bed and yawned, until he finally realized that he was alone. He lazily sat back up and looked around the empty room.    "Y/n?" He repeated.

....

Y/n hummed to herself one of her husband's songs, softly enough not to wake up anyone who was still asleep.

She was organizing a few things in the bathroom, feeling the nostalgia wash over her at all the memories she had had in there. She smiled to herself.

This place was one of the many places that she had spent her childhood in, and she was glad that her parents had decided to keep it.

She walked back to her room after hearing a soft thud, and right when she was about to open the door, she heard her husband's voice calling out her name. "Y/n?" Alex asked.

The person whom he was calling for opened the door and leaned on the doorway as she looked at her drowsy husband. "Good morning sleepy head." She said and smiled at him. Alex's face lit up at her voice and seeing her. "Good mornin' babeh."

Y/n walked over to their bed and sat down on it, holding Alex's hand and drawing circles with her finger. "How'd you sleep?"

"Eh, coulda been be'er, but wiv you I can sleep anywhere." He said and brushed his hair with his hand. "Yeah...the bed's a little small. Should've asked them to replace it with a bigger one." Alex nodded in agreement. "But it's only for a few days, and if you want we can look for any hotels near the places we want to visit." She suggested and got closer to him.

Alex immediately shook his head. "No no no, it's perfectly fine 'er, don't worry meh love." He pulled her in by her waist and kissed her ever so softly. Their lips brushed over on another and Alex smiled at the peach taste of her lipstick. They pulled away after a few minutes and connected their foreheads. "And besides, I wanna get to know where ya grew up." Alex said as he looked into her eyes. Y/n laughed at his cheesiness and nodded. "Alright then."

"But we should actually get up and go downstairs for breakfast, my mom's probably made something amazing for you, our special guest." Y/n said as she brushed his beard and long hair with her fingers. She stood up from the bed and took off Alex's shirt she was wearing, leaning down towards the briefcases to pick up some more suitable clothing to wear in front of her parents.

She stood there in just her bra and panties and giggled once she felt Alex's warm hands wrap themselves around her waist. He placed butterflies kisses on her shoulder up to her neck and she leaned to the other side to give him more access. "You smell so fookin' good babeh."

His hand trailed to her back and then slowly down to her panties. He pulled on the red straps suggestively and Y/n groaned softly. "I'd love to handsome, but we have to go before my mom comes investigating." She turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck as his hands laid on either side of her hips. Their lips connected once again and her hands moved to lay on his bare chest.

"I love you." She whispered in his ear. "I love you too babeh." She pulled back and placed a last peck on his lips before taking her clothes from her suitcase.

She watched as Alex put on a shirt to accompany the shorts he wore, and Y/n put on her pajama shorts and a dark brown crop top.

"Let's go?" She asked and Alex nodded in response. He held her hand as Y/n walked down the three flights of stairs before him. The smell of bacon and eggs and coffee infiltrated their nostrils and Y/n sighed.

As soon as she entered the kitchen, they were greeted by Y/n's family. "Good morning lovebirds." Y/n's sister, S/n said as she sat on one of the chairs. "Mornin'." Alex said politely. Y/n's mom turned away from the stove and looked at the two with a huge smile on her face. "Good morning Alex. Good morning sweetie." Y/n walked towards her mom and gave her a huge hug as well as a kiss on the cheek.

Alex just stood there and smiled at the two. "Good morning Mrs. Y/l/n."

"Oh Alex, I've told you, just call me M/n." M/n, Y/n's mom said as she put a hand on Alex's shoulder and then walked back to the stove. "Mom, do you need any help?" Y/n asked as she looked at the cooking bacons. "Oh no no, I don't need any help. But you can make yours and Alex's coffee if you wanna drink that." Y/n nodded at that.

"Coffee Alex?" Y/n asked as she put water in the coffee pot. "Yes please."

"Good morning Alex." Said a deep voice. It was Y/n's dad. He walked into the kitchen from the living room that he had been working in. "Good morning sir." Alex said. "Hi dad." Y/n said to her father, to which he replied with a good morning.

"How'd you sleep?" F/n said as he did stood in the classic dad pose. "Oh really well sir. Thanks for having me. I'd never in my life expect to come to here." Alex said and laughed. F/n laughed as well.

Y/n looked at the two and smiled. She was glad that her family and Alex got along so well. And she was glad that her family accepted Alex, even despite their differences.

She was glad that they accepted Alex as a member of the family.
