rainy summer

it was a hot summer afternoon, the sky was still bright and both alex and her boyfriend, floyd, we're sweating their asses off.

the ac was on the lowest temperature, but the heat wave was much more powerful and overpowered the ac.

alex was wearing tiny shorts and a tank top, yet she was still sweating like she had just ran a marathon. "floyd it's so hot...i think i'm gonna die." she said breathing heavily, her eyes fluttering open and close, almost closing.

"you're not gonna die sweetheart. wait here, i'll get you some ice." he said in his delicious accent, and went to the kitchen to get her a pack of ice. he came back and handed it to her.

alex immediately relaxed and sighed in satisfaction and she held in against her stomach. "thank you my amazing, super fucking awesome boyfriend." she said as she closed her eyes and smiled.

floyd laughed at that. "you're welcome, my love." he sat down at a chair, fanning himself with a magazine.

"in london it was never as hot as this."

"then let's move to london baby, please. i can't stand this heat." alex said as she stood up from her own chair and laid down on the floor in front of floyd.

"i'm really considering it." floyd panted heavily.

as they were both dying of heat, they suddenly heard thundering in the distance. they instantly looked at each other.

"floyd..." he immediately knew what his girlfriend was gonna say.

"alex, no. the rain is full of germs."

after a few seconds, they heard the loud rain drop falling on the windows.

alex immediately stood up. "please!!! if we shower later it'll be fine!!" she pleaded.

floyd sighed deeply. "you know you want to. what's better than a cold FREE shower in a hot summer day??" she wiggled her eyebrows.

floyd stood up from his chair and put his hands on his hips. he shook his head and groaned. "fine, let's go."

alex immediately jumped up in happiness. "YES! okay let's go!" she grabbed floyd's hand and headed to the door. "alexandra, you're gonna be the death of me."

alex quickly opened the door and laughed as she ran in the empty streets. she was soaking wet, sighing deeply at how the cold rain hit her overly warm body.

floyd simply stood right outside the door, looking around if any cars were coming from any side. he smiled at his girlfriend that danced in rain. she stopped as she realized floyd was just standing there.

"floyd! come here, right now!"

floyd rolled his eyes and walked towards her, pulling her close to him by the waist. "i'm not a dog, you know." alex wrapped her arms around his neck.

"i know, but you wouldn't want to miss the chance to make our relationship into one of those cheesy romance movies right???"

"of course not." floyd said sarcastically. "well go on then, kiss me floyd." floyd laughed. "as you wish madam." was the last thing he said before connecting his lips with alex's.

their hands gripped each other tightly, never wanting to let go. the rain was soaking the both of them as they shared a wet kiss, but they didn't care, they were gladly making out in public in the rain.

alex pulled away, panting heavily. she laid her head against his chest, closely listening to his calm heartbeat. "well, that'll definitely make the history books of most cheesiest moments." alex wrapped her arms around him, and floyd gladly returned the hug.

"i love you, floyd."

"i love you more, alexandra."

alex pulled away and looked up at him, narrowing her eyes. "no, i love YOU more."

floyd looked down at her and shook his head laughing. "oh come on, you child. are you satisfied?? can we go back inside now?"

alex pulled back from his arms, running around in the rain, yelling, "no!! you'll have to catch me first!"

floyd chased after her, catching her after a few seconds. "oh my god! floyd! that's not fair, you've got bigger legs!"

floyd carried her soaked figure bridal style, kissing her again. "come on now, you know i always play fair. now let's go shower."

alex groaned but gave in. "fine fine."
