CHAPTER 10

Furkan's POV

"Weng? Is that you?," I can bet that she recognizes my voice even without looking at me. Weng.. oh my Weng...

I know she's a bit shocked. I could see her sexy back and I bet her face turns pale the moment she heard my voice. Then she slowly turns on my side. She's with her friend, Ellie. I know Ellie because Weng showed me pictures of her friends. And I assure you that I know their names and faces. Great friendship though.

Now, she's so near me. I want to hug her from the back, wrap my arms around her and won't let her go. But I know that Weng wouldn't like that – you know making a scene in front of the crowd – and worst in an airport lobby.

She's facing me now, she looks puzzled and I wonder why. "Furkan? Is that you?", hehe With that tone, I know she couldn't believe that I'm here in front of her right now.

"Yes, it's me Weng." I told her showing my big smile. I turn to her friend "And I guess you're Ellie." and shake hands with her. She smiled at me. She's beautiful too – but my eyes are only for Weng.

Then I focused my attention to Weng... she extends her hand towards me, I take it and I can feel the coldness of it. Then I bow my head to kiss the back of her hand. I saw her reaction which I couldn't fathom. She's more beautiful in person. She's not so tall, just enough to level my shoulders. She has lighter skin. Her beautiful eyes could tell so much about her feelings. Her pinkish cheeks that adds her innocence. Her lips that I wish I could kiss every day. Her smile that makes my nerves lose control. Oh Weng, I wanna win your heart. I'll make the most of my time being with you. If only you know... the time that I didn't chat you, I was so busy studying your culture and traditions here. I admit it's hard but I can do this.

Ellie's POV

Ohhh mmmyyy Gooodd! Pwedeng sumigaw? Ang gwapo ni Furkan, as in super duper gwapo niya talaga. Mahilig talaga ako sa gwapo pero si Furkan na yata ang pinaka gwapong nilalang na nakita ko. And the way he looks at Weng, I could say that he's inlove with her. Yong mga mata niyang nag-niningning na parang si Weng lang ang tao sa paligid. Mabuti nga't napansin niya pa ako ei. Napakaswerte naman talaga nitong kaibigan ko.

Aba ang loka-loka, nakatulala lang nang hagkan ni Furkan yong kamay niya. Haay Furkan, may kapatid ka pa ba? Kasi nang magpasabog si Lord nang ka-sweetan, sinalo mo na lahat. Ikaw na talaga.

Sana maging masaya si Weng sa piling ni Furkan. Haay one down, six more to go. Si Weng na ata ang mauunang mag-asawa sa aming pito -heheh. Hindi man ako naniniwala sa pag-ibig, pero pagdating sa mga kaibigan ko, hiling ko na sana maging matagumpay sila sa kani-kanilang lovelife. Haay ano ba naman 'tong iniisip ko, hindi pa naman sila pero feeling ko mag-aasawa na sila. Sinabuyan yata ako ni Kookie sa kanyang pagiging hopeless romantic ah.

"Naku naman talaga Weng, pwede isara mo yang bibig mo baka mapasukan nang langaw", pabulong kong sita kay Weng.

Pati si Weng na laging kausap si Furkan sa skype di maitago ang pagkamangha sa nakikita niya sa harapan niya. Pag-ibig nga naman kong matamaan ka man, sobra sobra din. Kong si Audrey sobra sobrang lungkot at miserable ang lovelife, itong si Weng naman ang pinagpala nang lahat. Masaya ako para kay Weng.
