Chapter 3: Where they are(Glory)

In the middle of the rainforest, inside 1 of the huts In this hidden kingdom, Was the Most beautiful dragon anyone saw, who happened to be reading a scroll she had found on a dead mudwing patrol. That dragon, was Glory.

"Huh, so if the queens do not bear an heir, 1 can be chosen via a distant relative or loyal advisor, Why can't we do that." said glory while she was reading the scroll. All of a sudden her brother jambu came flying into the hutt, Jambu and glory were both the grandchildren of Queen Grandeur who was 1 of the queens of the rainwing tribe."Hey glor, You coming out soon suntime is about to start." said jambu giving a noogie to his littler sister."For the last time jambu, its glory not glor, and second off Il be there is a sec I just got to finish this scroll." she said while continuing to read.

"Ya well Grandma Grandeur wants you now, she says its about you "Interfering with tribe activities" because you talk about this "war" thing." said her brother."Sigh, fine Im coming, just give me a minute." she said while heading towards the entrance of her Hutt. All of a sudden a small fuzzy silver haired creature came up to her.

"Ha, and good morning to you to silver." she said while scratching the sloths chin. Silver was the queen's pet sloth but glory liked to take care of her most of the time.

Glory then spread her wings out and took to the sky, she flew over the rainwings eating fruit, or sleeping in the sun or just being lazy in general. But glory on the other hand was not like normal rainwings, she was curious and smart, she liked to find out more about things that are outside the rainforest. Unfortunately for her, Queen Grandeur, her grandmother and guardian didn't approve of her actions, neither did the other queens.

Glory then landed on the platform where Grandeur was waiting for her, there she walked up towards her grandmother."Glory we need to talk about your, recent behavior." said Grandeur."Look Grandmother, just because I accidentally almost killed a rainwing with my venom, That doesn't mean he didn't deserve it, he nearly sat on silver." said glory pointing out what happened a few days ago.

"Not that, Im talking about your behavior with spreading the word that their is a war outside the forest, It will cause a panic." said Grandeur looking at her granddaughter."I know that, but dosent the tribe deserve to know what's happening out their, that it might effect us soon?" said glory in a concerned matter, which was rare for her.

"I know that, but until then they must remain there calm, silly selves before who knows what shows up on our doorstep and attack us, Now if you excuse me, Im need back at my queenly duty's Good day glory." said Grandeur as she left glory on the pavilion.

"GRRRR, she's always like this, why won't she ever listen to me." Said glory while punching her fist into the bamboo platform. After she shook off her hand she decided to pay a visit to a friend of hers. She then took off towards the venom spitting class that was below the platform, there she waited a few minutes before it ended and flew over to a familiar yellow and purple scaled rainwing. 

"Hey kinkajou, what's up?" said glory hanging from a tree top. "Oh hey glory great to see you again, class was okay today except bromeliad won't get off my tail." said the cheerful rainwing."Ya well I need to ask you something." said glory.

After telling her what she told her grandmother, kinkajou then said."Ok I may not know a lot about this war stuff, but you do know who does know, I suggest going to see moon and if you do, tell her I said HI! said kinkajou while taking a bite out of a mango."Ya that's a good idea, after all she can see the future."

After a bit of flying, glory game towards a clearing not near the rainwing village, there she had a secret ally and an old friend. She then landed in the clearing and walked up towards a tree that was split in 2 by a lightning bolt.

"Moonwatcher, Are you here? Its me Glory." she said while calling out to the nightwing. Just then a nightwing with greenish black scales approached her."Ha, nice to see you finally showed up again." said Moon."Nice to see you aswell, and will Secretkeeper be joining us? asked glory."Sadly not, she is out making a trip to the nearest merchant market for supplies, so it s just the 2 of us." said Moon."Good, cause we need tot talk."

After telling Moonwatcher what she told her grandmother, Moonwatcher then said."Sadly it is true, I have had some visions of the future when the 3 Princesses takeover the rainforest, but there are few of them like that though." said moonwatcher ."That's what Im saying, None of the queens will listen to me so I sometimes think I should....Leave the rainforest?" said glory. Glory didn't know what to do with that thought, If she left the rainforest she doesn't know what will be out there.

"Well maybe you should-" Moon was interrupted because she had just had a vision of the future! After a minute or so Moon snapped back to reality."You ok moon, you look like you just had a... you just had a vision didn't you?" asked glory."Ya, and it may be the 1 you want to hear about." said moon. Glory then scooted in towards her.

"In it I saw you, flying over a mountain with 4 other dragonets, expect these dragons weren't rain wings, 1 was a clumsy but loyal mudwing, another was a fierce and mighty seawing princess, the 3rd  was a clever and charming nightwing, and finally the 4th a beautiful,kind and beloved sandwing." said Moon. "Wow that is a lot to take in, so I got to find these 4 for it to come true?" asked glory. "Yes, but there were 4 others as-well." Moon continued to say that 4 more will join her group."The 5th would be a skywing who's scales were as bright and as powerful as fire, The 6th is a charming but loyal seawing who would control a mighty army, the 7th is a beautiful nightwing who can see the future-partly and is also jealous of another 1's relationship. And finally the 8th, a smug but charming nightwing assassin who would 1 day become king of 2 tribes, and it appeared that you 2 had a thing going on." said Moon with a massive grin.

"Ok im just gonna pretend you made up that last part, but it does sound like I must leave the rainforest, and make my own destiny."

Later that day, glory gathered her things and left a note saying what happened to her, she then took off towards the sky, although what she didn't know was that grandeur was watching her, and she let her go free.

So Glory flew away from the rainforest, to make her own destiny.
