Chapter 17: Talons of Peace.

The Dragonets finally awoke from their sleep, they're scales aching from the bomb blast."Ugh. What happened?" asked Glory putting her talon on her head."I don't know, the last thing I remember was fire, then water." said Clay stretching his wings out.

They all then got up one by one, Starflight helped Sunny up because she had taken a bigger blast, but then everyone realized."Wait, where's Tsunami?" Asked Sunny. They all realized that their feisty aquatic friend was missing, when suddenly two more dragons entered their room.

One was a Seawing, about 10 years old with dark green scales and dark blue nearly black scales. The other one was a Mudwing with pale brown scales and a scar on her face."So, these the dragonets Shadow and Snowstorm brought back?" asked the Mudwing."Yep, these are the ones Mudslide, the same dragonets who lost the princess." said the Seawing grinding his teeth together."Easy Kraken, they're still dragonets, let them have some breathing room." Said a Skywing with bright red and orange scales."Forgive my friend, he can be rude sometimes but he's really friendly when you get to know him. Allow me to introduce ourselves, Im Peak and this is Kraken and Mudslide." said Peak.

"Ok, we'll Im Clay, this is Glory, Starflight and Sunny." said Clay pointing out everyone."Well, now that introductions are out of the way, let's go. The Commander is waiting for us." said Kraken leaving the tent."Hey, wait for us." said Starlight following him.

When the Dragonets exited the tent, they were awestruck on what they saw. It appeared to be a gigantic military camp, with dragons from all different tribes left and right arming themselves. The dragonets were awestruck on what they saw so many tribes here at once, even Rainwings surprisingly. The dragonets were walking when Sunny accidentally bumped into a mean looking Sandwing."Hey watch we're you're going twerp." said the Sandwing raising his spear at Sunny.

"How about you watch were your going sir." said Starflight wacking the spear away from Sunny."Sorry about Stinger, he can be moody sometimes." said Mudslide."I AM NOT MOODY!" he yelled back."And there it is." said another voice the dragonets didn't recognize. They then turned around to see a Nightwing, Icewing and Rainwing walking up to them."Oh, sorry Shadowwalker, didn't see you there." said Peak.

"It's alright, now cmon. The commander is awaiting us." said Shadowwalker leading the others to another part of the camp. As they walked across the camp area, they saw that the entire base was on top of a mountain, a sea spire to be more precise."Huh, I guess we're near the sea kingdom?" said Glory."Ya, it's but one of our base of operations, we have dozens all across Pyrrhia." said Snowstorm."The Talons of Peace grow everyday." said Serpent. "Wait, the Talons of Peace? Ive heard of you guys. Aren't you the resistance army made up of every tribe trying to bring peace to Pyrrhia?" asked Clay.

"Yep, we've managed to gain over 100,000 followers over the past few years now." said Serpent."Dang, you must have a really big army then."said Clay."Well yes... and no, half of us are military while the other half are what we liked to call"Hippies."" said Shadowwalker."Anywho, the commander is inside waiting for you, we'll wait out here." said Snowstorm.

The dragonets then entered the tent and inside they saw an armored figure looking at a table, he turned around and saw the dragonets and walked up to them, the dragonets on the other hand we're terrified because of how frightening he looked. But then he took off his helmet and it revealed a familiar face.

"RIPTIDE!?" The dragonets all yelled."What the Moons are you four doing here!?" asked Riptide in confusion."Wh-What are we doing here, how and why are you commanding an army!?" said Sunny."Well, Ive been commanding it for awhile now, I found out when my father, Webs was actually a spy for them. I later managed to join and work my way up the ranks, now I am the new leader of the Talons of peace army. But now that you know this, where is Tsunami?" said Riptide.

The dragonets then looked down as they knew what they had to tell him."Im sorry but..Tsunami got captured by Seawings and is probably back in the Sea kingdom." said Starflight. Riptides expression turned grim when he heard those words, then he slammed his talons on the table."Dammit, I told her to be more safe, I should never have aloud her to leave." said Riptide with a tear falling down his eyes.

But suddenly a Nightwing came barging in saying."Commander, she's broken free from her chains again, we need help down there." said the Nightwing in a panic."What? Dang it, I thought those chains would hold this time, you four come with me." he said pointing to the dragonets.

They then followed Riptide to what appeared to be an elevator in the back of his tent, and when he flipped a lever it took them very very deep within the spire, into a giant cavern. Sunny and Starflight snuggled together because they were scared while Glory changed into the color black to match her surroundings."What's al this for?" asked Clay.

"Recently, we've had an unexpected visitor. She came out of nowhere and where ever she went, she started to burn everything. We managed to force her back into this cavern, where we've kept her for all this time, but she keeps breaking out over and over again. And we can't keep holding her back." said Riptide.

When they reached the bottom of the cavern, they walked forward and saw a dragon with chains on her ankles, being burned off her scales, the dragonets then realized who this mystery dragon was.
