Chapter 15: The Invasion

The dragonets stood their in shock as of what they saw, san wings fighting seawing and nightwing, Deathbringer standing in front of them ready to strike, and their friend was unconscious."How did this happen?!" yelled Sunny.

EARLIER.

Glory was sitting in her tent, reading a sandwing scroll she borrowed from Stonemover."Ha, I can't believe one tiny scavenger could start a whole war." said Glory while snickering."Hey, lets see how you like it when a scavenger tries to kill you, then we'll see who's laughing." said a mysterious yet familiar voice.

Glory turned to the ceiling where she heard the voice, there she saw a nightwing crawl down from it and she immediately recognized that smug face."Ah, and greetings to you to Deathbringer." said Glory continuing to read the scroll.

"Aw, its so lovely you still remember me, even after our little struggle." said Deathbringer with a massive grin. But as soon as he finished he grabbed a chakram and placed it to her neck."Now, tell me where your friend Starflight is, and we won't have to see what color rainwing blood is!" ordered Deathbringer.

Glory just sighed and turned invisible, making Deathbringer fall to the floor."You really think you can hurt me, cmon Im a rainwing, we can turn invisible." said Glory reappearing on a beam above them."Ok, maybe you should rename your self to Chameleon, cause that gets annoying fast." said Deathbringer while getting off the floor.

"Ha, please if anything you should be named no kill, cause you can't even touch a rainwing." said Glory while getting down from the ceiling."Hey for your information, I have killed many dragons through the years, and I am proud of it!" said Deathbringer.

"Well, I always do like a dragon with pride." said Glory while using her tail to grab a chakram."Well, maybe we can have a little, fun with that?" said Deathbringer with a massive grin."Ok, I swear I heard someone like you say that before." said Glory. But all the fun ended when they noticed a small plant with a fuse on it , they both looked at each other and said."Uh oh."

And like that they were both blasted out of the tent, Glory went flying while Deathbringer just landed  outside the tent, covered in bruises. So we should be caught up now.

PRESENT TIME.

The dragonets were all they're helping Glory up."What happened in they're?!" asked Tsunami."I don't know, some sort of plant came rolling in, next thing you know it Im a dragon rocket." said Glory while whipping some fruit off her that she got on her."That wasn't any plant, it was a dragon flame cactus, skywings use them as explosives, but I heard a few days ago that a whole armory of them got stolen by..." Clay was cut off by a seawing trident nearly hitting him."Seawings." said Tsunami, who's marks glowed when she saw the seawing,sandwing and nightwing troops in the air.

"Blister is here." she continued."Wait, Blister? As in one of the sandwing sister's Blister!?" said Clay in a panic."The one and only, we have to get out of here before she see's us, especially me, it could ruin the alliance with the sea kingdom, NOW CMON!" yelled Tsunami. The dragonets tried to make a break for it but were stopped by sandwings."You're not going anywhere, Blister wants all of you." said one of them. But before they could capture them, they were killed by 2 blades that came out of nowhere."What the?!" thought everyone.

They then turned around to see Deathbringer, with a claw full of daggers."Go, Il cover you." he said while throwing another blade."What? Why are you helping us?" asked Glory."Im not doing it for you, Queen Battlewinner wants Starflight alive, and Im not going to bring him back in a war zone, NOW GO!" he said while jumping into battle.

The dragonets then rushed away from the scene, but Sunny stopped and said."I have to find my parents, I have to make sure there ok!" she yelled looking for them. But Starflight grabbed her and said."Sunny, we have to go, we stay we die!" he yelled."But I can't leave them I-" she was interrupted by a nightwing soldier grabbing her neck."Anyone comes near us the sandwing dies!" he yelled with his talons on her neck.

"SUNNY! Get away from her!" yelled Starflight in fear and anger. But as soon as he said those words, someone tapped the soldiers shoulder, when he turned around he saw Stonemover they're, and was shocked at what he saw. And while he was stunned for words, he punched him in the face.

"No one threatens our daughter like that." said Stonemover as thorn stabbed the nightwing with her barb."Sunny, are you ok!" asked thorn hugging her daughter."Im fine, but me and my friends have to get out of here asap, one of the soldiers said that Blister wants us?!" said Sunny."Indeed I do." said a new voice.

Everyone turned to see who it was, and were terrified of who it was."Blister." growled Thorn observing her."Ah, and hello again to you Thorn." said Blister with an evil grin."And to you as well, Stonemover." continued Blister wrapping her barb around his neck."Mom, how does she know you?" asked Sunny."Thats not important, but what is important is the fact that this lady needs to leave. Now." said Thorn raising her barb to her.

"Now there's the Thorn I remember, the one who would kill anyone for themselves." said Blister, which made the dragonets very confused. Just then a dragon flame cactus appeared and blew up, scattering everyone across the den, leaving Stonemover and Thorn to fight Blister."SUNNY FLY! Get to safety!" ordered her parents as they brawled the Sandwing Princess. Sunny followed her orders and flew to safety with her friends, crying as she saw her home burst into flames.

A WHILE LATER.

The dragonets stood on a dune, catching their breath."Ok, we need to keep going." said Clay."Go, GO WHERE!? Our only safe spot was just blown up, where else are we suppose to go!?" Yelled Sunny."Sunny, calm down, its going to be alright I promise." said Starflight while hugging her.

"Well maybe we can ask him?" said Tsunami Pointing to a dragon she didn't recognize. Everyone looked up to see Smolder flying away from the stronghold to who knows where"Smolder? Maybe he can help us, he did say he would back in the dungeon." said Glory."Then its settled." said Clay. Everyone took to the sky, following Smolder from behind, but their destination might not be what they think it is.

MEANWHILE

Meanwhile in the Night kingdom, the soldier who saw Stonemover was bowing before Princess Greatness."And you are sure it was him?" asked Greatness."I am positive your highness, there also multiple witnesses as well." Said the soldier."Very well, go now!" ordered Greatness.

As soon as he left, Greatness walked to the other side of the room, pulled a lever which lead to a secret room where her mother was."I presume you've already heard about it." said Greatness.

"Yes, so my prized subject lives, but no matter I got what I needed from him years ago." said Battlewinner."But what of the dragonets, they might regain there memories of...You know what." said Greatness I worry.

"It is no matter if they repeat the same thing all over again, I will not be defeated like last time, and soon all will bow before me!"
