Chapter 7: Meetup at the river

Starflight flew over the Diamond spray delta, but as he flew over a certain part of it and looked down, he saw that there was a battle down below."Such a shame, Im glad I wasn't here for that." He said to himself as he kept on flying.

Starflight then noticed a grove of herbs and he saw that the 1 his father sent him to get was down there as well."Ah perfect, just what I needed." He said as he dived down towards the grove.

He then proceeded to grab the herbs he needed and was ready to take off back to the tunnel when he thought to himself."Im actually pretty thirsty, I think I saw a river nearby with fresh water,I suppose father won't mind if im gone a little longer." He then proceeded to go towards the river and get a drink.

Just as he neared the river, he looked up and saw what he thought was the most beautiful dragonet he ever saw, she was a sandwing with sunlight golden scales and beautiful green eyes."Woah." Starflight thought to himself. As he tried to near her he accidentally stepped on a twig and it got her attention."Ummm, Hi?" he said waving to her. 

The Sandwing then dashed away from him."AGH, wait Im sorry, comeback!" he yelled as he chased after her. They ran and ran throughout the forest getting farther away from the tunnel. As he nearly caught up to her, he ran straight into a branch knocking him unconscious.

A few moments later.

Starflight then regained conscience and saw the sandwing looking over him."Oh few, I thought you were injured." said the sandwing."Ughhh, my head is killing me." said Starflight rubbing his head."Ya well that what you get for running into a branch." said the sandwing giggling a bit.

"Well Im sorry for chasing you back there, Im Starflight by the way." he said while raising his claw to her."Nice to meet you Starflight, Im Sunny." she said shaking his claw.

"Now what are you doing all the way out here in the mud kingdom? I thought sand wings didn't come out that far." Asked Starflight."Well im not an ordinary Sandwing, and I wanted to get out of the scorpion den and explore Pyrrhia." Said sunny.

"Well ummm, you haven't perhaps seen a tunnel by any chance? I need to find it to get back home.". said Starflight trying to look for the tunnel."Sorry I haven't seen anything like that. But you and I can hangout for a bit before looking for it." said Sunny.

Starflight and Sunny then took off to find the tunnel, unknowing to them, Someone was following them.

The 2 dragonets continued there search for the tunnel back to the night kingdom, but what they didn't know was that they were actually getting farther and farther away from it. Then Sunny asked."Are you sure its near here? We've been searching for hours."."I know that, but I swear its near here, or we could be totally lost." Said Starflight brushing some bushes aside.

All of a sudden they heard some rumbling coming from a nearby bush."Ummm, did you do that?" asked Starflight."Nope, that wasn't me." said Sunny. All of a sudden a rainwing pounced on to Starflight and said."Who are you? And why are you following me?" asked the rainwing.

"We aren't, we didn't even know we were following you, honest!" Yelled Sunny trying to get the Rainwing off of Starflight."Well sorry for that, I don't usually see a Sandwing and Nightwing around here." said the rainwing."Well we haven't seen a rainwing either, Im Starflight By the way, and this is Sunny." He said pointing too Sunny.

"Well Im glory." Said the rainwing."What kind of Rainwing name is Glory?" asked Sunny."Well... Its technically short for...glorious.." said Glory.(Not actually true, just thought that would be funny.)

"Well we're looking for a tunnel that can lead me back to my home, you wanna help us by any chance?" asked Starflight."I suppose I can, Ive been meaning to get around Pyrrhia more." said Glory."Yay, a new friend in our group." Cheered Sunny while group hugging him.

Even though Starflight knew that some of the other tribes couldn't be trusted, he knew that he can trust his new friends.

                                                                         Meanwhile

Back in the Night Kingdom, In the main council room, Mastermind, Greatness and Morrowseer were in they're discussing something important.

"I don't like this, Starflight should have been back an hour ago, I believe something has happened to him!" Said Mastermind being worried for his son."And also if he is captured by any of our rival tribes, he could leak information about our island's location, I told you sending your son was a bad idea!" Yelled Morrowseer in anger.

"ENOUGH! I don't care who's fault this is, Ive already taken the precautions if this was to happen, DEATHBRINGER!" yelled Princess Greatness. Then a Stern, Handsome looking Nightwing entered the room."Yes My Greatness, and who am I going to kill today?" he said while bowing."No assassinations today my pet, this is a retrieval mission, I want you to find Mastermind's son and bring him back to the island at once!" ordered Greatness

"It shall be done, and I will be back faster then you can say Deathbringer your amazing as usual." he said while flying away.

It looks like now Starflight has a target on his head, And Deathbringer was coming to collect the bounty.
