Chapter 6: The Battle of Diamond Spray Delta

Clay flew near the battlefield and what he saw was a pure nightmare. Mudwings and Seawings battling each other, using any means necessary to destroy one another. Tsunami on the other hand loved this fight, she battled Mudwings, broke their wings, and she loved It, she loved the fighting, probably cause she finally got out of the sea kingdom.

Clay then ran into the battle, punching Seawings but not to hard because he hated fighting. Eventually he ran into his siblings and was glad that they weren't dead."Oh thank god, I thought you guys were goners." said clay to his brother reed."Ya, well were about to be if we don't pull back!" said reed as he punched a Seawing in the nose. "I agree, we need to go otherwise were dead!" yelled his sister crane. 

Just then explosions started to appear out of thin air, they then realized that both sides were using gunpowder to take each other out. All of a sudden a bomb landed right near were they were and it blew up! Clay was flinged to the other side of the field, uninjured because of his ability to withstand fire. 

Tsunami then saw the explosion from her position ,she ignored it and kept on clobbering mud wings like there was no tomorrow, this reminded her of when she and her brother's and sister's used to play battle when they were younger. Just then her lieutenant yelled."PRIVATE! MOVE BACK, WE NEED TO REGROUP! he said before being blasted by a Mudwing. "Ya right, Move back my tail." she grinned as she continued to clobber them.

Then suddenly, a miracle happened for clay his commanding officer yelled."RETREAT, FALL BACK TO THE CAMP! Clay was overjoyed for that news, no more fighting for the day. But his dream turned into a nightmare when a Seawing pounced him. They tumbled around the battlefield and then fell into a river near the Delta, and unfortunately for them, the current was strong today.

Clay kicked and tried to get near the bank, but the current was to strong, just then his youngest sibling umber shouted."CLAY! HANG ON WERE COMING!" he yelled as he chased after clay with the rest of his sibs."No,stay were you are, IL FIND YOU!" he yelled as the current swept him away!

Clay and the seawing were swept away through the current, and after what felt like an hour, they landed near the shore, Clay then vomited water out of his mouth....for 5 minutes.

All of a sudden the Seawing that pushed him into the lake got up but looked injured, Clay then walked over to her and said."You ok? It looks like your wing is dislocated, I can help you reset it." he said while nearing her, but she tail wacked him and said."I don't need your help, especially from the enemy." She then attempted to fly off but failed do to her wing being dislocated."Alright, il accept your help."

"Alright this gonna hurt a bit so bite down." said clay as he grabbed her wing."1,2,3 NOW!" he yelled as he relocated it. The seawing roared and moved around a bit before she stopped yelling and noticed her wing was all better.

"Thanks, mudwing, I owe you one." she said while taking off her helmet. Immediately clay recognized the patterns on her do to combat research that he as forced to learn."Hey, your Princess Tsunami, Queen Coral's daughter!" he yelled in wonder, the only royalty he ever met was Queen Moorhen.

"Ya, I am and now were stuck in the middle of KNOW WHERE! she yelled in anger."Hey in my defense, you were the one who tackled me." said clay."Grrr, I hate when people point out my mistakes." said tsunami grinding her teeth.

Later that night they set up camp in nearby cave, and they stayed away from each other because they were of rival tribes, but clay then asked."I have to ask you, why did you come out to battle? I thought Royals didn't fight in the war? asked clay."Well I wanted to, Ive always dreamed of helping my kingdom through battle and conquest." said tsunami,clay then scooted in.

"But my mother wanted me to stay out of the fighting. Saying its "dangerous" Im 6 for godsake, I can help fight, but she never listens to me and so I snook out." said tsunami."Wow, I would kill to trade spots with you, not literally kill though. I mean I have to battle everyday, but all I want to do is sit around and eat, cows,chickens,goats....Ok now im hungry." said clay drooling a bit.

"Ha, you sound like my brothers, except turtle, he's different, and anemone... and riptide... Ok now Im starting to miss my family a bit." said tsunami. "HMMMM, tell you what, in the morning we see if we can find my sibs, and then we can find your squad, deal?" asked clay."Deal." said tsunami

They then went off to bed and from that point, a new ally was created.
