Chapter 20: The games

"Alright, Let the games begin!" said the announcer as he banged on a big drum."Alright guys, if we play this right we should be able to win!" said Glory cheering on her team."Ya, you heard my sister lets do this!" said Jambu hugging his sister."Let go now...Or il melt your face off." said Glory in a serious face."Sorry."

"Remember, all we have to do is do as Moon's Visions said, and we should be ready to go." said Sunny."Agreed. So everyone remember their jobs?" asked Starflight."Ya, Clay will be doing the fruit collecting test, Sunny will have flower finding, Jambu's got wing gliding. Starflight will take camouflage."And lastly I myself will do venom shooting." said Glory.

"Uh oh, here comes the competition." said Sunny pointing out the rival team. It was made up of 5 of the 6 queens, Grandeur decided not to participate in the games. So it was made up of Magnificent, Dazzling, Fruit Bat, Splendor and Exquisite."Ok, remember we have to play this out correctly and if we do, the army is ours!" said Glory.

"THE FIRST EVENT SHALL BEGIN!" yelled Handsome."Fist competition will be tree gliding, dragons get to the starting line."Alright, Im up wish me luck." said Jambu walking to the starting line."Let's hope this works." said Sunny."Ok, for some reason this is really fami-" Glory stopped and then had a flashback to a similar event, the same race and contestants, but Exquisite laid a trap for Jambu.

Then Glory snapped back to reality."Ok, that was weird. Hey Jambu, halfway through the race, watch yourself above." said Glory."Ok? Whatever you say Glory." said Jambu. The two got into position."Ready, set. BEGIN!" yelled Handsome banging on the drum. Exquisite and Jambu then bolted into the forest, making their way through the corse.

But then suddenly, as Jambu was halfway through the corse, a net came down from above."WOA!" he shouted dodging the net. Infuriating Exquisite."Yes, cmon cmon!" said Glory Anxiously. Then Jambu crossed first."YES!" Shouted the dragonets in excitement."DANGIT! I thought that trap would work, I spent days training my sloths to do that." said Exquisite in rage.

NEXT EVENT.

"Ok, next is fruit gathering, Clay your up for this one." said Sunny."And so is Exquisite, she is a natural fruit gather." said Glory. Clay then observed the area and then looked up at the tree above him."Don't worry, I got this." he said with a grin.

"Alright, here are the rules, who ever can bring back the most fruit within an hour will win the match, ready set GO!" announced Handsome. Immediately Dazzling dashed away to find some. While Clay just hanged around and just watched."WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? GO!?" Yelled the dragonets."Trust me, I got this." said Clay, laying down next to the tree."Oh MOONS! We're gonna loose!" said Glory.

58 MINUTES LATER.

Dazziling was finally coming back with a bag of fruit, the other knew they were gonna loose until Clay hit the tree he was under...which caused several hundreds of fruit to fall in front of him. Everyone as shocked at what happened, and he was automatically declared the winner.

"DANGIT! I thought hiding that bag of fruit would be enough,how did he know that was the food storage shelter!?" scoffed Magnificent."Im sorry what?" asked Glory."Grrr, Nothing just get onto the camouflage game already." growled Magnificent.

NEXT GAME!

"Alright, this match is Magnificent vs Starflight, we'll see who's most likely to win." said Handsome."Oh come now handsome dear, we know who the winner is already." said Magnificent."Find your hiding spot now." said Handsome, and so she left to hide."My money is on the Nightwing." whispered handsome to Glory."Agreed."

"BEGIN!" said Handsome. And so Starflight began his search for the Queen, looking everywhere for her. He was searching for a few minutes before he heard someone sneeze. ACHOO!"AH ha!" he said going towards the sneeze, then touching something scaley, which was the queen."Moons! We'll see how you do when I find you!" growled the angered Queen.

NEXT ROUND!

Starflight found the perfect hiding spot, now it was Magnificent time to shine. Unfortunately she searched the entire pavilion, but couldn't find him anywhere."Where is that pesky Nightwing!?" she growled."Im sorry your highness, but times up, Starflight reveal yourself!" said Handsome."Ok, he said as he dived down." Hey that's cheating, we couldn't see him in the sunlight!" roared Magnificent."Hey, it was camouflage, so I camouflaged into the sunlight." said Starflight with a smirk."Nice one Star." said Sunny."Thanks." he replied blushing slightly.

NEXT GAME.

"Sunny vs Queen Fruit bat, I have hidden a rare flower known as the dragon scent around the pavilion, first to find it wins!" said Handsome. BEGIN! Fruit bat darted around everywhere, sniffing for it, while Sunny also did the same. Eventually she spotted the flower in a large pit of them and dived in after it, unfortunately Fruit bat followed her and smashed into her before Sunny could land. And unfortunately Fruit bat managed to get to it first."Agh, Sorry guys she got the jump on me." said Sunny."It's fine, you tried your best and you still did great." said Sunny putting his wing over her."Thanks Star." said Sunny.

FINAL GAME!

"Ok, so because of Queen Spoiled a lot back they're, she pushed up the queens points to tie with ours, so this the final challenge." said Glory."And its all down to you Glory, if you don't win this, we won't be able to save Tsunami...Speaking of which, what happening to her right now?" asked Sunny.

MEANWHILE.

"For the last time NO! I am not trying on that gown mother! It makes me look girly." growled Tsunami."You will try it on and that is final, Besides what's wrong with being girly, you are a girl. Now put on this wedding dress! said Coral."NEVER!" Tsunami roared while grabbing a dagger.

"She's fine....I think now if you excuse me. I have a venom shooting contest to win." said Glory. Glory walked next to Splendor as they began"Good luck, you'll need it." smirked Splendor."I don't need luck, just my friends." thought Glory as she made her shot. She shot a whopping 16 claws.(Feet in dragon). Very impressive."Beat that!" said Glory."Gladly." said Splendor as she made a 20 foot shot!?"Ok, that's impressive il give ya that, but I got this.""I hope." said and thought Glory.

And so, Glory thought deeply to herself, she knew what was at stake and knew she had to win this, for her friends, for her family, for her honor. And so she with all her might, with all of her strength she managed to cipher the power to make one last shot, and it was a whopping 30 claws! She won by a long shot!.

"YES! GLORY DID IT!" Shouted her friends in excitement. The entire crowd was also in a roar of joy and excitement, however magnificent wasn't having it.'RAAAA! NO THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE!? I AM THE RULER OF THE RAINWING! I AM THE QUEEN!" Roared Magnificent in a fury.

"Not anymore your majesty." said Glory sticking her tongue out at her."Nice one." said Clay.

"Alright then, now that we have an army."

"Lets go save Tsunami."
