Chapter 8: Gang's back together

"Are you sure its this way, you've been looking for this stinking tunnel for hours now." said Glory while helping her new "friends" find this mysterious tunnel."Look I don't know ok, I haven't been out of my home since yesterday, I don't really know what the rest of pyrrhia looks like OK!" said Starflight.

"Oh cmon Glory, this isn't so bad, besides its nice to get around more often, after all being stuck in a rainforest all the time must suck." said Sunny while looking for the tunnel on top of a tree. It was true though, Glory was glad to be out of the rainforest now, but she did miss her brother and silver.

All of a sudden they heard a rumbling from the nearby bank, Glory crawled neared it to investigate what the disturbance was, but then all of a sudden a seawing pounced on top of Glory and pinned her to the ground.

"Who are you and what are you doing following us?" yelled the seawing while growling at Glory. But then all of a sudden a mudwing followed her and yelled."Tsunami CALM DOWN! I told you not to attack every dragon we see, now get off the rainwing!" yelled the mudwing while dragging Tsunami off of glory.

"Tsunami, that must be the name of the dragonet who just pounced me." Thought glory as she brushed off the claw marks that Tsunami gave her. Just then both Starflight and Sunny walked up to them and all 5 dragonets were facing each other.

"Im sorry for my friends behavior, we just got out of a battle and ended up here, Im Clay by the way, and the one who just tried to maul you is Tsunami." Said Clay."Well its nice to meet you, Im Sunny, This is Starflight and This is Glory." Said Sunny while pointing out each dragon.

"Well what is a nightwing,rainwing and sandwing doing out here?" asked Tsunami."We can ask the same question for you two." said Starflight. Both groups then explained why they were out in the wilderness, How Clay and Tsunami got separated from their groups and How Glory,Sunny and Starflight were out exploring and trying to find the so called "Tunnel" that can help Starflight get back home.

All of a sudden, thunder roared from the distance and rain started pouring down from the sky, Tsunami then said."Dangit, we can't fly in this weather, let's find shelter and wait this out." The dragons then searched for shelter, they then found a cave big enough to house all of them and so they entered it.

Now all 5 dragonets were tucked away in the cave, they were just peacefully doing there own things, Sunny was fiddling with some grass that she found, Starflight was checking on the herbs he was suppose to bring back to the Night kingdom, Glory was examining a map she brought with her, Tsunami was sharpening her claws and Clay was thinking about food...as usual.

But the Clay said."Does anyone wanna talk about anything?" asked clay."I don't want to talk to the enemy." said Tsunami."Oh cmon, since we're gonna be here for a while we might as-well talk to each other." said Sunny

"How about we each tell a fact about ourselves, Il go first. I have 6 siblings back home in the Mud Kingdom." Said Clay."Well I guess Il go next, I am actually a seawing princess who wanted to get out of the kingdom and fight." said Tsunami pounding her fist together."Well I guess I can get this off my back, I am a runaway from the rainforest, I got tired of living there and left the place behind, I am technically also a rainwing princess because of my grandmother." said Glory.

"Nice, another royal in the group." said Tsunami."Me next, I was sent here to collect this herb for my father, Mastermind, And im also technically not suppose to be here cause Im under 10." said Starflight."Oh oh, me next, I guess a fact about me is, Im a hybrid." said Sunny.

All of a sudden everyone's jaws dropped and eyes-widened, then Starflight said."Your a hybrid, but that isn't possible there haven't been a confirmed hybrid in over 2000 years." But then Sunny said."Well yeah, I am a hybrid, My moms a sandwing and my dads a nightwing."

But then Glory asked Starflight."Can I see one of the herbs you were here to collect?" asked Glory. Starflight then handed her one of his herbs, Glory then took a look at it and said." Moons, this is a venom nock herb." But Sunny then asked."What the heck is a venom nock herb?"

"Its a rare type of herb that can cancel out rainwing venom, it secretes an oil that when applied to something, it can protect it from our venom, but why would the Night kingdom want these types of plants?" said Glory.

All of a sudden lightning struck right outside the cave, making everyone jump up. Sunny and Starflight then grabbed each other because they were both spooked by what just happened, but when they looked at each other they blushed a tiny bit before letting go.

"Well its getting late, We can all leave in the morning." said Glory. And just like that everyone fell fast asleep. But soon they would face, a very dangerous...

"Oy shut up, we're trying to sleep here." said Tsunami."OH sorry my bad."

                                                                           NEXT DAY

All the dragonets exited the cave and were about to take flight."Welp, I guess this is goodbye then." Said Sunny.

All of a sudden a net fell right onto them, they all got entangled within it and couldn't escape, then out of nowhere 3 armored skywing soldiers appeared."Well well well, what do we have here A couple of dragonets far away from home." said 1 of the soldiers.

"What the, we must have wandered into the sky kingdom." said Tsunami.

"Look we don't want any trouble, just let us go and." Clay was then stopped by another skywing soldier."CAN IT TRAITOR!" said the skywing while stomping on his back."

"Carnelian, alert Queen Scarlet of our capture, it looks like we have some new fighters for the arena."
