Chapter 19: Rainwings UNITE!

"Ok, so you're sure that you can convince your grandmother to help us rescue Tsunami?" asked Riptide. The dragonets and the Talons of Peace were at the borders of the rainforest, where Glory was going to convince the Rainwings to help join the fight against Blister.

"Yes Im sure of it, If Grandeur is the dragon I know she is, she might be able to help us." said Glory."Now cmon, we have to get they're before night fall, otherwise we won't be able to get back in." said Glory.

"Why's that, is they're some kind of sentry system or night patrol that happens at night?" asked Starflight."Nope, it just gets really dark in they're, can't see a dam thing." said Glory. Starflight then got a smug face while Sunny snickered. The dragonets then grabbed everything they needed, weapons, a lantern, food, food, more food, even more food."OK Clay we get it you like food,  Moons if you wanted food that badly you could have just asked a rainwing or something!" said Starflight grabbing a bag of food Clay had.

"AW" said Clay in disappointment."Cmon, Tsunami can't stand any minute longer with Whirlpool, we got to get the army before Tsunami recreates the Seawing massacre to get out of the wedding!" said Sunny as she dived into the forest."WAIT SUNNY!" said Glory as she dived in after her friend, the boys then following them.

The dragonets were now walking through the rainforest, trying to find Glory's village. But then Clay said."Um, is it me or have we been here before?""Ya, now that you mention it, this looks familiar." said Sunny, Starflight nodded in agreement. Then a sound was made that made Clay jump, but when he turned around to see it, it was a toucan."Huh, that bird looks, awfully familiar?" he thought to himself. 

Then all of a sudden, Sunny, Clay and Starflight were hit by something, which appeared to be tiny blow darts."Oh, my heads hurts." said Sunny as she collapsed into Starflights claws,"ya mine toooo-"he said as he then collapsed. "What's happeninggggg-" said Clay as he fell asleep-Onto a group of monkey's, which climbed out from under his back.

"What the!? SHOW YOURSELVES!" yelled Glory as she changed into a bright vibrant red. Then her brother Jambu and his boyfriend Pineapple appeared from their camouflage forms."Glory, what in moons name are you doing back here?" asked Jambu."I came back here for Grandmothers help, I need to talk to her." said Glory returning to her normal color's.

"Well Im sorry to say you're too late, Grandeurs month ended a few days ago, it's now Magnificent's month now." said Pineapple."MOONS NO! NOT HER!" she said while punching a tree. Causing a flock of birds to fly away."Where is she, I'll talk to her myself. And also can you bring my friends to?" said Glory."Eh, sure."

LATER.

The other 3 came to finally after an hour being out. Clay was the first to wake saying."Im starving, what's to eat?" Then Starflight and Sunny woke up at the same time, and both blushed intensely because they were on top of each other."Huh, bout time you three woke up." said Glory walking up to them.

"Ugh, I feel like I just had a hangover. Where are we?" asked Starflight."Knockout darts will do that to ya, and welcome to the Rain kingdom guys." said Glory."Wow, I knew the rainwings lived in seclusion, but this is awesome." said Sunny admiring the Rainwings work.

"Thanks, now stay here while I go talk to Queen Magnificent.""Wait, I thought that your Grandmother was Queen?" asked Clay."She is, but Rainwings alter queens every month, its weird but apparently my mothers kids, probably my birth mom started it, because they were "To lazy." said Glory.

"Well ok then, let's go before this gets even more confusing!" said Clay as they launched into the air. The four of them flew through the air and then arrived onto the royal pavilion, where magnificent was waiting for them."Cmon, let's get us an army."

Glory then entered the royal chambers, where Magnificent and her royal advisor were."Ah Glorious, what brings you here?"."First off, I prefer Glory, and second off I need the tribe's army real quick so if you don't mind-" Glory was cut off by Magnificent.

"Look Glory, I don't know what you've learned throughout your little "Adventure." But as you know Rainwings aren't allowed outside the rainforest, and we can't just go fight in somebody's else's war that we don't have a moons thing in, so why don't you take your very interesting friends and go, I have some sun napping to attend to." said Magnificent as she then fell asleep.

That was the last straw, Glory was more mad about this than anything, her scales turned into a bright shade of red, and she ROARED out as flames shot from behind her! It was so terrifying Magnificent fell off the throne."LET ME AT HER! LET ME AT HER! IL %$%&#! ANNIHILATE HER!" Glory yelled trying to claw Magnificent."Glory, Glory calm down!" yelled Sunny, Clay and Starflight as they held her back.

"ENOUGH!" Yelled Handsome from behind the scene."Look, they're is a more civilized and less murdery way to become Queen Glory." said Handsome."How?" she asked."Well, according to ancient times. In the days before Darkstalker, The Rainwings chose their queen by a means of challenges, each queen would choose up to 5 teammates for their team, and the current queen would choose the contest, which ever team won, their leader would become or remain queen."

"WHAT!? You can't be serious can you?" said Magnificent in udder shock."It's decided." said Handsome with a stern face."Grrr, Very well, The contest will be hosted in 2 days from now, I want the time to decide the contest." growled Magnificent."Very well."

LATER.

"Great, Now I got to find 5 teammates to help me win a bunch of stupid games, great." Glory sighed as she took a bite out of a mango."Just ask your friends to help, Im sure they would be willing to help out." said Sunny."Ya, only one problem though, I don't have any friends here, wasn't very much the social type growing up." said Glory throwing away the rest of the mango.

"Well, you got us, We'll be the perfect teammates." said Clay walking up to Glory."I suppose, I mean they didn't say anything about other tribes being in my team, sure we can give it a go." said Glory."And we can cheer you guys on." said two voices who came out of nowhere.

"Who said that?" asked everyone."We did." said a familiar voice. Then A Sandwing and Nightwing jumped down from the trees and landed right in front of them."MOON! QIBLI!" Sunny squealed as she embraced her brother in a much needed hug."Good to see you too Sunny, now let me go before you snap my spine!" he said as his sister crushed him.

"Sorry, but are my mom and dad safe?" she asked urgently."Yes, they're fine in fact most of the Outclaws made it out, they came back to the den and started to rebuild it but it will take some time." said Qibli, putting his wing over Moonwatcher."THEW! That's a major relief, I thought they were gone for good." said Sunny.

"And we also came to help you, Glory you know I can see the future, and if my predictions are right, I might have found a future where we end up winning this, but you have to play the parts perfectly. Also you might wanna recruit your brother as your 5th member." said Moonwatcher.

"Well in that case then, let's win us an army!"
