THAT NIGHT IT WAS ANOTHER LACROSSE GAME AGAINST DEVENFORTH PREP BUT SCOTT HADNT SHOWN UP YET

"Everything's fine. He said that he might be a little late" stiles explained as he walked with Liam and June through the locker room

"How late is late, is he always late? We're playing devonford prep again and this time it's an actual game, he, he shouldn't be late" liam panicked but he got the attention of someone else

"Who shouldn't be late?" Coach asked as he walked past

"Scott and kira" liam sighed as he looked to stiles

Stiles: "They might be slightly late"

"Slightly late is still late" coach stammered
"What are they doing?"

"They're doing something that's going to make them slightly late"

"What could Scott and kira be doing right now that's more important than playing in the first game?" Stiles looked to liam then back to coach

"Oh coach"

-

They were getting ready for the game to start and coach allowed june to sit on the bench with Liam to calm him down. He knew they would lose without him and this was their first real game so they needed to win

"They're still not here" he said to stiles

"What's this about Liam? They'll be here. The full moons not for another 24 hours liam. You'll be fine. Okay? Just try not to rage out on anyone"

"You're not worried?"

"Okay, I'm mildly concerned. Mildly" stiles opened his phone and messaged Scott

Liam: "We're gonna lose without him"

"No we're not. We can be just as good without Scott. Okay, I've been practicing. Let me tell you something. I'm getting good. Really good" june laughed as stiles continued to put on his gear.
