Chapter 6
The nurse had told them to go to the hospital since there was nothing that she can do about it as it was most likely broken so they put Liam in stiles' Jeep and he drove them all to the hospital
Scott, stiles and Luna all turned wide eyed as Mellissa came turning the corner
"Hi mom" Scott greeted. She smiled slightly before looking to the boy behind them then to June
"Your moms assisting surgery right now, so I don't think you'll see her"
"That's alright, I'm just here to make sure Liam's okay" she nodded and reached over for a wheelchair which she then put Liam in and wheeled him away to his room where he would then be assessed
"Alright, i've got to get going. I promised Malia I'd help her study" Scott nodded and continued to stare in the direction where Liam had just went
"Sure. I want to check on him anyways"
"You coming June? or are you checking on him as well?" she rolled her eyes ignoring his accusation
"I'll ride with Scott" stiles nodded and started to walk in the other direction before turning back
"Hey, I don't need to say that wasn't your fault, right?" Scott shook his head just the slightest bit
"I don't know"
"Scott, if you had to use wolf power that kid wouldn't be limping he'd be crawling back to the other half of his body" June ignored the way her chest pained her once she heard the idea of Liam dying
"if I hadn't been so worried about being captain, he wouldn't be hurt either"
"it's okay to want something for yourself once in a while. Team captain, alpha werewolf, you're still only human" stiles patted him on the back and turned around this time walking out of the hospital
"Do you hate me?" Scott questioned the girl beside him. Luna cocked her head to the side in confusion
"Why would I hate you?"
"I just hurt your friend" she pursed her lips slightly
"Stiles is right Scott. From what I've heard you've helped everyone, and you wanted something for yourself. I know you didn't mean to hurt Liam. So it's okay. I don't hate you" he put his arm around her shoulder and she hugged his waist
"Let's go see how he is" they both walked side by side through the hallways until they got to the room Liam was placed in
