Teruya was tired.

Tired mentally, anyway. And it also wasn't the typical 'sleepy' tired.

No, it was more like he was tired of Haru and Satsuki getting on his nerves for working. Just working.

Teruya didn't get it. Being the Ultimate Merchant was a big job! As a result, there was a lot of paperwork and online work to do and that he needed to get done by a deadline. He should be able to work on that!

Haru and Satsuki's problem was that he, quote-on-quote, 'worked too much'. As in he stayed up late to do all the work and didn't get a lot of sleep. Barely any, actually.

Night was the time he worked best! Day was the time for playing and having fun, so night was a perfectly reasonable time to get everything he needed to do done and out of the way! It was peaceful and he could get so much done!

Teruya thought about this as he walked to a coffee shop he knew was down the street. It really wasn't fair. Honestly, screw sleep. Who needs sleep? Not him, that's for sure. He's functioning just fine without it.

Although, according to Haru and Satsuki, he wasn't. When he absolutely was.

The coffee shop came into view after a few more minutes of walking, and Teruya smiled. Finally, the walk had seemed a lot longer to get here than normal.

This also reminded Teruya of another problem Haru and Satsuki insisted he had. Which was a problem with caffeine.

Just like with sleep, Teruya didn't think he had a problem with caffeine. It came in handy with working, especially with energy drinks. They were very useful.

...Then again, Satsuki had said multiple times that he was in denial. So maybe he did have a problem, but he just didn't notice.

Teruya didn't think he had one though.

He walked into the coffee shop and sat down at one of the tables for a quick rest, a bit tired from his walk. As he caught his breath, two more people entered the coffee shop.

"...doesn't get it, you know? He can't just take it away!" Nikei was saying with an exaggerated hand gesture. "It's so annoying!"

"I know what you mean!" Yamato agreed. "Well, maybe not the 'annoying' part, but with the taking stuff away part!"

"Hey guys!" Teruya hopped off his chair and went towards them as he greeted them. "I didn't expect you two to be here too! That's funny!"

Yamato's face brightened up more when he heard and saw Teruya, while Nikei just nodded at him with a smile. "Hey, Teruya. Didn't expect to see you here either."

Teruya nodded back, smiling. "Yep! What are you talking about?"

"Oh, I was just complaining to Yamato about how Mikado and Setsuka wouldn't let me work last night and took my laptop." Nikei said, his face turning to a mildly annoyed expression. 'I have deadlines, I need to work. They just don't get it."

Yamato nodded. "I'm sure they just want the best for you, but you're definitely right when you say you need to work! Yuki does the same thing to me, and it's difficult to stop when I'm really focused on something, but Yuki knows how to get me to stop."

"How does he?" Teruya asked, curious about Yamato's mini-story.

"Cuddles." Yamato smiled. "Yuki never asks for cuddles normally, he's like an anti-social raccoon he's so closed off, so when he does ask I have to accommodate him! I have no choice!"
