School Project Part 1 ~N.NK~

Takata Misaki POV

I woke up to someone jumping on my bed, I groaned and got up just to see my younger brother jumping on my bed very agressively. "YAH MINATO! WHY DID YOU JUMP ON MY BED?!" I saw my older brother sighing and giving 1000 won to Minato. "Well, Mashiho-hyung bribed me to wake you up, noona." Minato shrugged. Our family might be Japanese but Minato who is 10 was born and raised in South Korea and he calls me and Mashiho by 'noona' and 'hyung'. Mashiho is older than me by 4 years but I refuse to call him 'Oppa' or 'Onisan/Nisan' so I just call him Mashiho.

I got ready for school and rushed downstairs before Mashiho left me at home. I got in the car and Mashiho drived. "So, Saki-chan. Have you gotten any new friends?" Mashiho asked. Ughh I left my Japanese school in Busan to finally go to a Korean school in Seoul. I shook my head as a no and we arrived at school. I waved to Minato and Mashiho. The moment I went in, I closed my ears tightly. It's way too loud over here. I rushed to my classroom and sat down taking my earpods out. I was peacefully listening to music when someone flicked my forehead.

Nishimura Riki. One of the Japanese heartthrob in our school. We don't have many Japanese students here but girls fangirl over thse 4 Japanese boys just because the look like anime boys. "What do you want Riki?" I sighed. "Give me a pen, I left mine at home. And call me Ni-ki, only close friends call me Riki" he said without even looking at me. I sighed while giving it to him. Out of everybody who has a pen, why me? I ignored the fact that he was staring at me the whole time until lunch break.

During break, the cafeteria is really loud so I usually go up to the rooftop. I was peacefully eating when Ni-ki came over. I ignored him and continued eating my kimbap. Suddenly he took a large bite out of it. "YAH THAT WAS MINE!" I yelled. "Well, you want it now?" he said pretending to gag which made me sigh loudly. "Swallow it.." After swallowing practically my whole kimbap, he decided to drink water. My water. From my bottle. "YAH STOP! THAT'S MINE!" I couldn't tell him that it would've been an indirect kiss cuz he would annoy the hell out of me. "Then get it from me." He said raising it up high. I sighed again before leaving the rooftop.

It was art class when teacher decided to give us a school project which we had to go to our partners house to make it. I crossed my fingers to not let it be Ni-ki. The teacher started calling out names, "Harua and Danielle, Jiwoo and Hikaru, Junghwan and Garam, Taki and Siyoon and finally.. Ni-ki and Misaki." Dang it.. The school bell rang 2 periods later. And it was time for me to talk to Ni-ki. I called my brother first, "Mashiho? U-um I'm having a school project and I have to go to his house so you don't have to pick me up. I think he'll drop me home. Thank you, love you byee" Phew, he agreed. Mashiho is kinda protective over me..

"We're going to your house okay?" I thanked myself for not stuttering infront of Ni-ki. He might me an annoying kid but I kinda like him. Emphasize on the word kinda. He nodded and I followed him to his car. Wait.. this kid can drive?! Whatever. I got in the passenger sit and Ni-ki glared at me. "Sit at the back." I sighed again. I arrived at Ni-ki's home. Wow it's really beautiful.

Ni-ki POV

I saw Misaki being astonished by my beautiful house and I smirked. Suddenly I remembered the phone call Misaki had just now. She said she loved him? I didn't really like the feeling of her saying 'I love you' to anybody, other than me ofc. I admit I do have feelings for Misaki but it seems that she has a boyfriend.. I entered the house and called my mom. "Okaasan?" "Riki-ah! I'm here!" I heard my mother yell from the kitchen. Misaki-chan was behind me. "Omo, Riki you have a beautiful girlfriend and you never told me?" My mom cooed in Japanese. I whispered to her, "Mom, she's japanese, she understood what you said." "Oh my, I meant all the things I said dear. Welcome. Just call me auntie." I sighed while looking back to Misaki. Wait what? She's blushing? Is it because of being called beautiful or.. my girlfriend? Well, she looks really cute tho. Before I went to my room I told my mom, "Btw, she is not my girlfriend.. yet." And I heard her squeal like a teenage girl who just got confessed to by her crush.

Misaki POV

When ni-ki's mom called me his girlfriend I blushed really hard. I went to his room adn we started doing our project. After finishing halfway, i got tired and layed back. "You tired? Want a drink?" ni-ki said offering me a drink which I gladly accepted. I mean he wont poison me when his mom is downstairs right? I finsihed the drink and smiled and how good it tasted. I felt ni-ki staring at me which made me flustered. We continued doing the project after finishing it I jumped with joy when I suddenly tripped. My face was about to hit the floor when I felt someone above me. It was ni-ki, he hugged me before i could fall. he fluttered his eyes open. i looked at him, he was so close to me. he suddenly leaned in but.. "RIKI-YAH!! I BROUGHT SOME MOCHIIII~" Ni-ki's mom cooed which made the both of us seperate. "Aww sorry i runied your adorable time, eat some mochi Misaki-chan, its late." dammit, it is late. me and ni-ki awkwardly ate our mochi and left to my house. 

We were infront of the door when he suddenly spoke, "U-um Misaki-chan, I wanted to say that I really like you like i mean, I love you." I smiled and just kept quiet. He sighed and was about to leave when I hold his wrist which made him turn around. I went on my tiptoes and pecked his cheek carefully. When I pulled away I felt so flustered I could die this moment. I saw Ni-ki frozen in place before hugging me tight. "I love you so much Takata Misaki" "I love you too, Nishimura Riki." I whispered but he heard it so he hugged me even tighter.

After he left, I went in to see my two brothers. One is smirking while another is frowning. "Misaki-chan, did you just kiss the guy's cheek? Is he your boyfriend?" Mashiho said while frowning. I nodded and Minato suddenly jumped up, "YIPEEE! MISAKI NOONA FINALLY HAS A BOYFRIEND!" I looked at him, "Wait, what do you mean by finally?" "Well, i thought that you would be single for life. I mean, who would want you as their girlfriend anyways." Minato said shrugging which made me chase him all around the room. Mashiho stopped us and said, "I'm okay with you having a boyfriend, BUT I need to meet him." I nodded and texted Ni-ki (he gave me his number before going to his house) "He said he'll come here tomorrow at 9 am?" I informed Mashiho to which he nodded. "Let's see this Ni-ki.." I heard Mashiho mumble

Well, this is only part 1. I'll make a part 2. Guys do you think Mashiho will accept Ni-ki being Misaki's boyfriend or not? STAY TUNED~~ Edit 26/01/23 : I changed the name from y/n to Misaki :)
