HE'S SO PRETTY IT HURTS-

Ari's POV

"Oh, I heard we're getting a new neighbour." Mom informed making me kinda annoyed. My old neighbours were all mean to me, ever since I was a child. They moved out a month ago and I've never had enough peace. But now we're getting new neighbours, great.

My mom had asked me and my sister to change into 'decent clothing' because the Sim family is coming over."Ari! Come greet your neighbours!" I went downstairs to see a family of four sitting on our couch. My mom insisted I sat down together with them.

"Wow, your daughter is so beautiful, Mrs Choi." Mrs Sim complemented me as soon as I sat down. I got kinda flustered and looked away. But I heard a chuckle, I looked at the boys and saw a boy my age chuckling."Your sons are also very handsome." I saw Mrs Sim nudged the two boys to introduce themselves.

"I'm Sim Jaeho." "My name is Sim Jaeyun, it's nice to meet you." I saw the guy named Jaeyun glance at me."These are my two daughters." "I'm Choi Eunri." "Choi Ari." They had dinner at our house, and I swear I saw Jaeyun glance at me.

The next morning, I woke up to the sound of a violin. I looked out my window and saw Jaeyun. He was really good, I almost fell asleep again if my mom didn't come banging my door. The next few days were me listening to all of Jaeyun's violin practices.

One day while I was out watering the plants, I heard someone call me. I turned to see Jaeyun. "Umm hi." I didn't know why I was nervous to talk to him,"U-uh h-hi.." "My mom told me to give you guys these." He handed me a box."O-oh, thanks. W-would you like to come in?" AH SHIT WHY DID I SAY THAT UGHH

He smiled,"Sure." DAMMIT. He came inside as my mom happily welcomed him. My mom left us alone as she was busy. He kinda followed me to the couch."So Jaeyun-" "Just call me Jake, please." "Um okay. Jake, I just wanna say that I love it when you play the violin. You're really good." I saw his ears turn red as he chuckled,"O-oh, thanks. Uh so, what do you do for fun?"

We had a good conversation as I found out that he'd been living in Australia his whole life. I would be lying if I said I didn't have a crush on him. He's polite, talented, and cute. I left for a minute to go get him some snacks, but when I came back I saw that he fell asleep. He looked so handsome.

"If only you knew how much I adore you." "You do?" WAIT HE WAS AWAKE?!"U-uh-" "Tell me Ari, do you like me." He looked straight into my eyes."Uhm... yes.." "Great, then let's date." "W-what?" "I like you too." I blinked a few times. Was he always this straightforward."H-how are you so calm?" "What do you mean calm?" "I mean, you just confessed with a straight face."

Jake pulled me closer to his chest as I listened to his rapid heartbeat."I'm not calm at all. My heart is about to jump out." "O-oh.." I pursed my lips together. "Can I kiss you?" HUH WHAT "U-uh" WHAT Jake cupped my face and gently kissed me making my heart legit yeet out.

"Are you wearing strawberry chapstick?" "Huh, n-no.." "Then, why do your lips taste like strawberries?" UGH SHUT UP JAKE CAN'T YOU SEE I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A CRISIS?! He then pinched my cheek,"Cute. Oh yeah, your mom and my mom has been watching us for a long time."

I looked out the window to see the two women smiling and hugging happily. I saw Jake smirk before pulling me into another kiss."Oh my, did I make miss Ari shy?" "SHUT UP-"

That was just the beginning of our relationship. There's wayy more where that comes from. Maybe getting new neighbours wasn't so bad after all..
