I stared at her as she slept with her head resting on the desk. How could someone look so beautiful sleeping? In a few minutes, she woke up, rubbing her eyes adorably. "Good morning." I ruffled her hair as she yawned.

"Jungwon, it's 5 PM~" "So what, my love just woke up?" I laughed as she hit my chest playfully. "Alright then, wanna go for a trip?" "where?" She asked as I chuckled before dragging her outside. "You'll see." I grinned holding her hand tightly as we walked.

I brought her to a beautiful grassland. She smiled at me before running around, her hair all over her face. I laughed, chasing her around. After a while, we sat down on the grass. The sun was setting and the sky looked pink.

"Jungwon, look! It's so pretty!" She pointed to the sky, but I looked at her face instead. "Yeah, really pretty." I smiled as I saw her ears become strawberry pink like the sky. She looked away while I chuckled, holding her hand.

I kissed her hand before pointing behind her. There were a swarm of butterflies surrounding the flowers. She stood up smiling brightly, "this is amazing!" The only thing that filled my mind was that this girl in front of me was in love with me.

I hugged her as she flinched. "what's wrong?" "I can't stop falling for you." I kissed her ear as I smiled. Slowly, my eyes closed as I fell to the ground.

I blinked as I held my aching head. I looked around to find myself in a hospital ward. I looked around multiple times looking for her. Tears brimmed my eyes as I hugged myself. Slowly, I felt someone hug me. "Jungwon..." She said as I hugged her tight, tears falling onto her shoulder.

"Why did you go?" "Jungwon, you have a really bad fever. Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" She softly yelled at me as I kissed her shoulder. "I'm sorry, don't leave." Everything felt better with her.

"I won't leave." She held my face, kissing my cheeks softly. "Why did you cry?" "I-I thought you left me..." She smiled softly, making me lie back down on the bed. "Lie down with me." I looked at her with pleading eyes. "No-" "Please?"

She sighed before lying beside me. I hugged her tight, placing my head in the crook of her neck. "You should sleep, Jungwon." "It hurts when I sleep without you." Her body softly shook as she laughed.

I slowly blinked as she caressed my hair, making me feel sleepy. I smiled into my sleep, thinking about the day all of this would come true.

Blue butterflies and strawberry skies with the person I love.

But this is just a song I made for her.

Just an impossible dream.

I actually wanted to make this more sad by making jungwon terminally ill instead of just sick bc of the lyric "you know that I'm out of time" but I don't wanna cry reading my own work...

but it's still sad cuz the song sounds quite sentimental (I hate angst but I just felt like making a sad chapter)
