She's a love killer, they said.

She'll ruin your teenage life, they said.

Did I listen to their words? No, instead I admired her even more, from afar, of course.

In these stressful days of school, love just makes the days a little sweeter. 

Seeing her in the crowded bus, completely oblivious of her surroundings, just makes my heart flutter.

Her hair that sways through the wind during PE, makes the laps we run a little less tiring. 

That little eye contact we had made my heart stop and pump harder.

I don't care if she would break my heart, she had already stolen it anyway.

After a year of admiring, I was finally noticed. 

She turned back and asked, "how long will you take before confessing?"

My heart stopped, and a smile appeared on my face.

"I'm just waiting for the right time." She went back to walking, making me chuckle.

I run up to her, walking by her side. "I wonder if your hands are cold."

She rolled her eyes at my attempt at flirting. I laughed and covered my smile with my hand.

I think I need to call 119,  this is an emergency.

I think I need CPR, stat. 

She was like a flashlight shining through my dark times.

She was like that unreleased love song.

I waited till she reciprocated my feelings.

I waited till I knew she was in love with me too.

Those 3 words, I love you, were begging me to utter them in front of her.

That day finally came, she uttered the sentence that would make me melt in the cold winter days.

"You've made me fall for you, Heeseung."

A tight hug was all I could do as a reply.

Tears in my eyes, never knew love could make me cry.

Love is so sweet.

It's so lovely being in love.
