Cat Lovers - Y.JW -

Soohyun's POV

"Hey, I heard Jungwon got a girlfriend." "What really?" "Yeah, I also saw him with a girl yesterday at the convenience store."  I laid my head on my desk as I sighed after hearing my classmates' conversation. Yang Jungwon, the guy I've had a crush on for 4 years. He's smart, talented, kind and cute. What's not to like about him?

But me being someone who struggles to even ask the teacher to use the bathroom, I have no chance. Even though, he's my neighbour. He lives right in front of my apartment, but I have always tried my best to avoid him.

After my classes, I walked home. But then, I heard meowing coming from a box. I looked inside and saw a kitten, around 7 weeks old. "Aw, are you all alone?" The kitten meowed as a response.  I gently stroked it before placing it in my arms. I kissed its head, "You're so cute.." It meowed, "Are you hungry?" It meowed again. 

"Hmm, I only have a ham sandwich." I haven't eaten anything since morning. I'm starving but the poor thing looked even more starved. I sat down and took out my lunchbox. I fed the cat some of the ham. My mom had taught me that cats can eat ham before she passed.

I didn't notice that someone was staring at me for quite a while. I heard someone tripping on something, making me turn around. "Jungwon?" "O-oh, I'm sorry." "Uh what are you doing here?" "Uhm, I saw you with the cat and wanted to give you some of this."

He showed me a pack of cat food. "O-oh, thanks. But how do you have this?" "Uh, I see a lot of stray cats so I just bring a pack with me all the time." He sat down beside me making me freeze. "Are you gonna adopt him?" "Hmm, maybe. If the owner allows of course." "Oh yeah, your mail is actually with me right now. I think the guy mixed up our mail." 

"O-oh..." "It's fine, I'll give it to you later." We stayed silent for a while as we watched the cat eat. "What are you gonna name the cat?" "Hmm, I was thinking of Won or Wonnie." I saw Jungwon smile at little. "Just like me?" "h-huh-" "I know you have a crush on me, Soohyun." "W-what are you talking about?" I awkwardly laughed.

Jungwon smiled as he took the cat and kissed its head. Heat went to my ears as I realized it was basically an indirect kiss. "I actually like you too. You have such a kind heart, I can't help but to admire you all the time." "U-uh, don't you have a girlfriend?" "Huh, what." "I heard a girl saying that she saw you with a girl.." "Ohh, that's my older sister."

"O-oh.." "So, would you date me?" "U-uh.." "I'll take that as a yes." Jungwon smiled brightly as my heart skipped a beat.

"YAH STOP KISSING THE CAT AND KISS ME?!" "NOPE" "I AM ALSO YOUR WON THO?!" Jungwon whined as I chuckled. "C'mere." I patted my lap as he laid his head on it. But, Won jumped right on his face making me laugh. "HEY MY TURN" "MEOW" Won meowed loudly. I swear that they both argue like this all the time. It's not every day you see a man and a cat argue...

After a while, Won finally left us both alone. Maybe because he is sick of arguing with another species... "Now, I can kiss you." Jungwon smiled as he pecked my lips a million times. 

*sigh* why am I even living with two cats? One is a real cat and the other is basically the human version of a cat. I love both- "BUT YOU LOVE ME MORE RIGHT?" .... "Right, love?" .... Jungwon stood up and picked up Won, "How dare you. Soohyun loves you more than me-" "JUNGWON?!" He chuckled placing the cat back down and searching through a drawer.

Jungwon got two cat headbands and made me wear one of them. "Now we're a cat family." *sigh* why is he like this?
