3rd Person POV
The young man was busy spacing out when the sound of a bell brought him back to reality. "Welcome to Roses Café. What would you like?" He said not looking at the customer. The man was always called rude for a reason. "Um, I would like a strawberry frappuccino with a cupcake please." The customer said. To the young man, the customer's voice sounded so angelic he had to look her way. "O-oh alright, what will be the name written?" He asked as he stared at the girl.
"Choi Alicia." She said as he nodded. He was off to make the drink while the girl looked for a seat. The exact moment she found a seat, the man came and gave her drink. "Thank you, but you spelt my name wrongly." He did indeed spell it wrong. He wrote on the cup, "Aisha." He quickly looked at her saddened. "Sorry, I didn't hear your name right, what was it again?" He said looking quite guilty. The girl just chuckled and said, "Alicia, you're very forgetful right?" He looked away embarassed.
It was 5 minutes passed 6 pm and the girl was still there seated, her drink and cupcake finished. It seemed to the young man that she was studying for an upcoming exam. He stared at her scrunching her eyebrows and smiling everytime she understood something. The man would be lying if he were to say he wasn't interested in the girl. He got the courage to go up to her and give her something.
"H-hey, you seemed stress so I brought you a latte." He said approaching her. She looked at him bewildered. "But I don't have any money left.." He reassured her by saying, "It's fine, it's on the house." "No no I insist on paying you back." She said. "Well, if you really want to pay me back, go on a date with me?" He said giving the girl a piece of paper with his number on it. He looked at her to find the girl with pink tints on her cheeks and ears. "S-sure." She said taking the paper and placing it into her pocket. He sat down infront of her making the girl startled. "Aren't you supposed to be working?" She asked as he shook his head side to side.
"Nope, my shift just ended five minutes ago." He said as she just nodded. "So, wanna get to know each other first?" The young man asked. "Sure, Choi Alicia, 19, 1st year in Namyangju College." She said taking her hand out for a handshake which the man gladly accepted. "Park Sunghoon, 19, also 1st year in Namyangju College." "Oh, then why have we never met?" Alicia asked. "Well, I'm majoring in Music." Sunghoon said smiling making Alicia's heart flutter. "I-I, Interior Design." She said blushing.
Sunghoon chuckled and asked Alicia, "Um do you wanna go get some snacks from CU Mart?" Alicia nodded and packed her bag. Sunghoon went and changed into casual clothes. The two went to the convenience store and got to know each others favourite things. After buying some stuffs, Sunghoon sent Alicia home.
"This is my stop." She said turning around to face Sunghoon. "Do you live alone?" He asked looking at her home. "I have a roomate." She said smiling. "I gotta go now." Sunghoon said turning around to leave but was stopped by Alicia. "Sunghoon!" She said. "Yes-" He was cut off by Alicia standing on her toes to peck Sunghoon's cheek. "Ok now bye! See you tomorrow!" She said clearly blushing. Sunghoon touched the place she pecked and went home thinking about Alicia.
This is the start of a brand new love story...
