Why hello lovelies Laura here! Sorry it took me so long, I've been getting ready for exams.
Oh joy.
Anywho sorry for the super short chapter, I promised that the next chapter I do will be much much longer.
Anywho, enjoy!

***Tom's POV***

Come.

I woke up in a cold sweat; tangled in the blankets and sprawled across the cold floor. A quick glance towards the window and a look around the dark room told me enough about my situation.
I was not supposed to be seen.
I got up quietly, keeping my eyes on the figure laying on my bed. Shoving the blankets into a corner, I grabbed my sword and my armor before leaving quietly.
I needed to go.
Come... Come...
Dianite's words kept bouncing around in my head as I started jogging towards the priests house. I felt on edge, trying to keep calm by drumming my fingers on my sword; but I still felt anxious. What would he need me for?
I crept into the courtyard; my eyes locking on the swirling purple portal.
"W-where are you going?" Champ said; half hidden behind one of the walls leading into the priests house. I looked over at Champ but turned to look at the portal.
"No where. And if you know what's good for you, you'll forget I was here." I stepped through the portal without a glance in Champ's direction; closing my eyes and breathed in the acrid fumes of the nether.
Come.
I took anther breath before opening my eyes and looking around at the hellish place. Drawing my sword I started forward until I heard him.
"Thank you for coming so quickly Syn." I turned and grinned.
"No problem sir. Anything for my God." Dianite smiled at me before sitting down and motioning for me to do the same.
"So you have the new boy in your control?" I hesitated.
"Well sir, he hasn't woken up yet. But I will do my best." Dianite nodded thoughtfully and I turned over the blade of my sword in my hand. "Sir what's so special about him?" Dianite sighed.
"Let's just say Syn that he's a game changer; and we want him on our side." I felt a rush of emotion run through me; none of it good.
"Yes sir." My voice sounded stiff, even to me. Dianite glanced over at me in surprise.
"Syn, I said he was a game changer. Not my new champion. Just get him to join our team and we will crush those Mianitees to the ground." I blinked before a slow smirk spread across my face.
"Yes sir."

***Jordan's POV***

I woke to the sound of footsteps; it was dark, however a small window cast a bit of light. I held still and watched as a guy moved quickly around the room. Only his silhouette was visible, but I could still tell that he was nervous. He turned towards me, and after I closed my eyes I heard footsteps quietly treading out of the house.
Who was that, and where was he going?

~

I awoke a second time to the smell of food; but as I glanced around I was reminded that I wasn't home.
I was somewhere else.
I tried to recall something, something before the events of last night when something came up. Light brown eyes staring into mine through my sunglasses.
My sun glasses.
I quickly reached for my face and relaxed as I felt my glasses perched on my nose.
Everything was okay.
I slowly got up and walked around the room before heading down some stairs, just to be greeted with a guy grinning at me.
"Why hello! Eggs?"

Yeah Welp I can guarantee that the next chapter will be along much sooner! Sorry for the wait!
