She said yes. She will be my bride and I will be her groom. In fact, the better part is that she wants to marry me because she wants to, and not only, because Robert wants her. This is enough for me to be happy for the rest of my life.

A lot dramatic, I know but I can't stop thinking about it since she has accepted the proposal, which I formally did not do but yeah. I haven't told her yet that I love her, not from today but from the day I have seen her and to marry her is the best thing that can happen to me in my entire existence.

When she asked me why I wanted to marry her, I wanted to scream at the top of my voice and tell her that I was in love with her but I did not. I didn't want to take this fast. I want to give it some more time, I want to give us some more time and this vacation would be the most appropriate time.

Charlie told me about the vacation and he was going to tell Kia today which means she will be coming here in any moment jumping in happiness. Monte Carlo and Paris, these are the lands of love and also one of Kia's favourite holiday destinations, ideal enough for our love story. I know she isn't in love with me right now but I am sure she will soon fall in.

My thoughts were broken, when there was a knock at my door. There was Kiara. She had a huge smile plastered on her face, she was wearing a simple white top and jean shorts, her hair were in a messy bun but she still manage to look beautiful.

"Nohi, we are going to Paris and Monte Carlo", she squeaked in joy as expected.

God she looks so cute like this!

I need to stop, geez! It's getting too much now, but I can't stop.

I nodded and asked her, "Yup, you started packing?"

"Of course", she beamed.

I know I am sounding like a girl since long, but come on men have emotions too.

She always used to ask me why, I never had a serious girlfriend, and I always made excuses but the truth lies here, I could never find another Kiara Pattinson in my life.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed and I got up to grab it from the bedside table.

"Hello"

"Noah?"

"Yes"

It was Marco, my fellow colleague who worked with me.

"The boss wants you to take up Mr. Liam Brown's case."

"I can't, I have already applied for a leave. I am flying to Monte Carlo this Sunday for 15 days."

"I am aware but the boss says that this client is important and you must attend him."

I sighed, "When is the hearing?"

"Friday"

This meant I would be stuck here for almost this whole week and here I was planning to make this vacation special for Kiara.

"Okay, I will be there." I hung up.

"What happened, Tom?" Kiara asked me. I almost forgot that she was here.

"Actually, my boss has got a case from an important client Mr. Liam Brown, if you have heard, the famous businessman and he wants me to handle this case, even though I told him that I was supposed to take a leave."

"Oh! Now?"

I didn't want Kia to stay back and so I told her to go with the rest of the crew and that I would join them on Saturday and then maybe we can extend the trip if we want.
