Parker

"Beautiful it's okay, I can understand. You can tell me everything now, you know it's never late for anything with Parker", I smirked.

Today finally after a week Kia called me and apologised for being rude that day and not being able to talk because she said she had a lot of work and of course she is avoiding the date so there must have been more to the story.

Neither was I in the right frame of mind to talk to her or anyone else after that lady had visited me. We spoke about the past and her glorified present without me. She was just here to prove, how happy she was with her life and how sad her life was back then. I tried my best to keep my mind straight but failed miserably.

I would be lying if I would say that I wasn't affected with even that one meet of few hours we had. All the dusted old memories or rather bad images came rushing back fresh to me. I hate to even have a thought about it but I couldn't have done anything to stop them refreshing.

"PARKER WATSON!"

"Ow! Yeah Kia", I pushed the phone a bit away from my ear.

I zoned out bad! I hope she hasn't said anything important besides my name.

"Someone zoned out too like me", she taunted me.

"Sorry babe! Tell me."

"Yeah yeah now listen", and she started narrating me her date.

She had a great time with Noah even after I disturbed them, thank god! But then she told me something that made my ears sharp.

"You'll kissed accidentally?" I asked her unsure of what I heard was true.

"Yes Park and it was weird instead of being nice", she said.

I don't know why but a part of me wasn't feeling bad about but instead it felt relieved.

"Why but?"

"Exactly that's what I don't understand."

"Kia it should have been one of the best days of your life but instead let me guess you are now not talking to him and avoiding him?"

"Yes sir you are absolutely right", she agreed.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"I don't know but I can feel this from within that I am not going to be able to be the best partner for a person as sweet as Noah", she said in a sad tone.

"Beautiful relax! Don't rush into anything. You already have a lot on your mind so let's not make it worst by taking up a hasty decision. Give it some more time and maybe a few more dates with him."

"Have you spoken to Tam or Jub about it?" I asked her.

"Yes they said I should talk to my mom and if I can't work this out then I should end it before Noah gets hurt or anyone who keeps expectations from us."

"They are right but I think the first person you should talk to, is Noah himself. Tell him about everything that you feel from within and then you both can make a collective decision. I am sure he will also have some vision here", I tried to explain her.

"You have a point too. I think I will do that. Parker I think I am receiving another call, can you please hold for a sec?"

"Sure" and she put me on hold.

After a few seconds she returned and said that it was Noah and she is going to meet him in the evening so I told her that she should talk to him with all she has kept bundled in her mind freely. He is a wise man and I am sure he will understand her.
