Kate's POV:I push Hope over to the electronics and stop at the gaming systems. "I gotta get out of this. My balls are getting squished," she grunts in discomfort and jumps out of the basket then picks up her pants that fell down slightly.
I snicker quietly as a mom gasps and glares at Hope who gives her a nervous smile. "My uh balls," she says pulling out two dodge balls I put in along the way to the electronics.
The mom squints her eyes at Hope then turns on her heel with her son following. Hope looks at me with wide eyes making me laugh quietly.
"Stop laughing, Kitty Kat! I swore I saw my life flash before my eyes from that mom's glare," she states shivering in 'fear' making me smile softly at her.
She probably didn't even know that she called me that. It's cute. "Well, you're still alive, Hopey Pooh. Now help me find the Wii," I tell her chuckling and she salute's me then turns to look through the glass cases.
"Found it!" She exclaims happily and points to the lower shelf in the case where we see three boxed Wii's.
"Alright, I'll go call an employee," I respond clapping my hands together before turning on my heel and walked towards an employee that's behind a counter in the electronic center.
"Hello, my sister and I want to get a Wii," I announce politely making him smile and nod.
"Ok, let me just get the keys real quick and I'll be there shortly, ma'am," he says and I nod before heading back to the isle where I find the cart there but no sign of Hope.
Uh oh. I quickly look around for her but nothing. Where did she go? I notice something in the cart and see a few Wii games making me chuckle.
"Ok. Which one would you like? We have two white ones and a red one," the employee announces as he opens the cabinet and pulled a white one and the red one.
'Red one' I hear a voice in my head say making me jolt back slightly. I blink a few times and glance up, 'Jesus?'
A giggle echoes in my head, "it's me, Kitty Kat. Get the red Wii.' Oh it's Hope.
"Uh the red one, please. Thank you," I tell the employee who's patiently waiting for my response and he hands me it before putting the white one back and locked the cabinet.
I set it carefully in the cart before leaving the isle following Hope's scent. I collide with someone who holds onto my cart.
"Hey, le-. Oh hi Rebekah and family," I say nervously with a smile while trying to subtly look for Hope from the corner of my eyes.
Damn it, Hope. "Kate. Where's Hope?" Rebekah questions with her eyes narrowing at me. I chuckle nervously while biting my lip.
"Funny story, uh, I was getting an employee for the Wii and when I came back she was gone. Crazy right? I uh can't find her," I say with a wince making all their eyes widen.
"You lost my niece?" Rebekah exclaims and I nod sheepishly making my family facepalm while shaking their heads.
"Not really. She's still in the store because her scent is here," I tell her and she just sighs annoyed while rubbing her forehead.
"Found her," Irina states gesturing with her head to the side and we all turn seeing Hope carrying a giggling girl bridal style.
Hope tries to take a sip of the drink in the girl's hands who's still laughing. "Hey guys," she says as they walk by us and I stare after her with my jaw dropped slightly.
