Hope's POV:I just stare at Sara in shock and lean back heavily on my car. B-but I was careful. I always wore a condom when we had sex. Always. Unless it broke and I didn't remember.
"I-I'm sorry for blurting it but I really needed you to know," She says making me shake my head quickly while pushing away from my car to set my hands on her arms.
"No no no, don't be sorry. Thank you for telling me. I appreciate it. Listen whatever happens I'll be there for you and my child if you are pregnant. I'm sorry....about the condom. I didn't know it broke," I quickly reassure her with a small smile.
Of course I will be there for my child if they even exist. She gives me a watery smile, "thank you, Hope. But I don't think the condom broke because I didn't feel anything dripping out of me."
She gets red in the face towards the end of her sentence as do I a bit. "I got a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I don't really trust the pregnancy tests from the stores. They're untrustworthy," she informs me and I nod slowly.
It's in three days from now. "I understand. I'll pick you up and go with you. Like I said I'm in this with you. It takes two to tango with. Maybe even three," I softly tell her then joke with my eyebrows wiggling.
Sara cracks and giggles while pushing my shoulder. "You're so stupid, Hope. Thank you for being so sweet and understanding. I'm sure if it was anyone else girl or boy, they would've freaked," she says with a sigh making me crack a smile.
Oh believe me I'm freaking out on the inside. "I'm just built like this," I retort and puff out my chest getting another giggle from her.
"We better go in before the others think we're doing it out here," she announces with a playful roll of her eyes.
I chuckle with a nod, "hey now I'm way better than lasting 15 minutes. And you know this." I wiggle my eyebrows with a teasing grin getting an annoyed groan from her and she pushes my face away while turning around to head back inside the bar.
I laugh quietly to myself and follow behind her. The boys turn to us with smirks. "Have fun?" Jay asks in a teasing voice when we sat back down on our seats.
I glance over quickly at my mates who went rigid in a split second. "We didn't do anything, man. We were just talking," I tell him and grab my cup to take a drink.
He hums tauntingly. "Believe us, we didn't do anything. I needed to talk to Hope about something," Sara says grabbing ahold of her water.
The girls in our group give her understanding looks while the boys still didn't believe us. That must mean the boys don't know but the girls do.
Sara might be pregnant with my child. I may have a baby on the way. I let out a shaky breath as I think about that and I take big gulp of my alcohol.
I'm always careful. Always. Have a condom on you at all times. No exceptions. A soft cooler hand lands on my arm and I look seeing Carmen giving me a concerned look.
"Are you alright, honey? What's wrong?" She softly but quietly asks softly rubbing my arm with her thumb.
I swallow anxiously and glance towards Sara who's talking to Nikki then I glance over to my mates who are speaking quietly to each other. "I'm fine. Just..... just have a lot on my plate right now. I'll tell you when we get home, momma," I respond just as quietly.
She frowns slightly and nods before pulling away. How am I gonna tell them this? Oh god how am I gonna tell my other family?
Aunty Bex and Aunt Freya are gonna have my balls for this. I run my hand down my face anxiously. If she is pregnant then that means I have to get diapers, wipes, and baby clothes.
