Chapter 12

Hope's POV:

It's been at least two months since the Cullens came and stayed with us. So far with my relationship with Rosalie and Alice have been fantastic. We went on three dates already. One with all of us then the other two it would be a one on one.

It's amazing because I get to know them together and one on one. Right now I'm laying in bed looking up at the ceiling just thinking about things.

   It's crazy how everything went down. First I had to come here for protection from fucking Aurora and her lackeys, then I found a family with the Denalis, and finally I found my mates.

   My beautiful mates who I now have an understanding with everything. Mates the two who have a piece of our soul. Before I felt a little empty but I was confused on why I felt like that.

Having mates fill that void like a missing piece of a puzzle. Our puzzle. I smile to myself and sigh happily.

Something falling on my bed caught my attention. I sat up and grabbed the letter. From your aunts, uncle, brother, Davina. I smile happily and open it up.

Hey, sweetheart. I hope you're doing okay and sorry for the long delay of the check ins. We've been busy but no matter what that's no excuse. We're so sorry, little one. We wanted to say Happy Halloween. Hope you have a fantastic holiday. Pun intended, little bunny. Send us pictures of what you're gonna be. Also we've killed a few of Aurora's lackeys and rest assure we're this close to getting her. Give it a bit more time and soon we'll be together again. We love you, Hope Andrea Mikaelson. "Always and Forever," I whisper to myself and pick up the card, shaking my head with a chuckle.

I fold the letter and set it on my dresser. I grab my notebook and pen to begin writing a letter back.

Hi, Aunt Freya, Auntie Bex, Uncle Kol, Marcel, and Davina. I am doing fine and don't be sorry. As long as you all are being safe then I'm fine. Happy Halloween, family. Please be careful when you guys are going against Aurora and her lackeys. Everything here is going great. Amazing actually. Kate has quickly become my sister and best friend. They all have become a second family to me. Most days are fantastic but others are a bit hard without hearing from you all. I miss you all. Also uh I found my mates. Rosalie Lillian Hale and Alice Cullen. They're cold ones. Can you believe it? I have mates. Two of the most beautiful girls in the world. I look forward to getting more letters from you all. I fold it carefully before magicking it towards their location. It should reach Aunt Freya in a few seconds.

   My door slams open and in comes Kate who's grinning. "Come on, Hopey! We're cashing in on the bet," she exclaims happily and I light at that with a grin.

   We won the bet of no video games for a week and we got to pick when the others sing at the bar. Kate and I waited for a while just to keep them on their toes.

And today's the day. "Awesome! Let's call the Cullens to witness it," I exclaim and jump off my bed to put on my shoes then I grab my hat that Chase gave me and put it on.

   "Already ahead of you, miracle baby. Now hurry up," she responds with a smirk and leans against my doorway.

I grab my keys, phone, and wallet before we walk out of the room. "We need to pick the best songs for them," she says and I nod agreeing.
