No One's POV:Rebekah watches with a loving smile as her niece laughs quietly with Kate as they play Call of Duty. Usually it would take a while for her niece to get comfortable with people because she's always been a good judge of character.
If Hope gets a feeling that you're being fake then she will give you the same back. But when you're genuine then you get to witness the real Hope.
"She seems to be getting along with Kate well," Carmen comments with a smile glancing between the teen who's giggling at Kate as she curses from being behind in the game.
Rebekah smiles lovingly with a nod, "yes she is. I had a feeling she would get along with Kate first then with time she would get along with all of you."
The others smile at that. They really wanted Hope to feel comfortable with them. "What about her diet?" Tanya questions crossing her legs.
Rebekah smiles sadly, "she drinks human blood. Animal blood doesn't satisfy our hunger. It makes us crave for more. Which is why we brought that." She points to a big ice chest that's full of blood bags.
"It is full of blood bags. Freya spelled it to keep the blood bags fresh and keep the scent in so it won't mess with you guys. Also bourbon helps with the craving so I brought two big bottles for her. She drinks one a day or twice a week to help her. Just don't let her drink a lot in one day because our kind can get drunk," she informs them making them mentally write it down in their heads.
"We have no problem with the smell, Rebekah. We all have pretty good control of ourselves. The only problem is one of our cousins. He's still new to the whole animal diet so it's taking a bit longer for him to ignore human blood but the others are fine," Irina says with the others agreeing with a small wince.
They know how hard it is to change your human diet to an animal diet. It is not fun. "He won't be a problem for Hope, will he?" Rebekah questions raising a stern eyebrow at them making Hope who was listening in paused the game to look back at them.
"No, no, no, he won't. They usually call ahead if they are coming down so you guys have nothing to worry about. And if they do we'll give them a heads up or just tell them no because we have guests over. No biggie. Carlisle and Esme will totally understand," Tanya hurries and explains making Rebekah lose her stern look.
She nods slightly, "alright. But I don't want Hope blamed when she defends herself against him if she needs too. She has gotten training from her school and from her uncle Kol so she can easily defeat your kind."
The only reason Kate is gonna train Hope is so she can keep up her training. Because she's a Mikaelson she always has to be ready for anything.
"I'm sure no one will blame you, cariño. I would be glad if you did since no one should be attacking such a beautiful girl like yourself," Carmen tells Hope making her blush and look down.
Rebekah smiles at Carmen before wiggling her eyebrows at Hope who giggles as she glances at her aunt.
"Unpause it, dude! I was this close to beating your ass," Kate whines making Hope laugh and turn around to face the TV again.
"Uh huh, sure you were. Whatever helps you heal your bruised winning streak," Hope jokes unpausing the game and they resume playing their game.
Kate scoffs playfully and nudges her softly, "Ha ha ha, you're so funny, kid! I still have my winning streak, thank you very much."
Hope smirks and presses a combo she knows on the game, "not after this you won't." The area where Kate's player is explodes resulting in her player dying.
