"You have a call waiting for you, ma'am." Your secretary comes into your room, smiling. "Thank you." You smile happily, and wave to her as she leaves. Your life seemed slow ever since you divorced Jotaro Kujo; things were falling apart, you became depressed, and you almost never left your house. Your heart was broken, and you never wanted to bring anything up about the emotionless Kujo again.

Fast forward to now, four months since the divorce: You're a successful ballet dancer, and you've been hired in many shows, showcasing your talent. Your name is all over Italy's billboards; Y/N L/N, The Princess of The Stage. You never knew Jotaro was holding you back. You always had talent to spare, and you never brought it up with Jotaro because he'd cut you off two words in, not even giving you the time of day.

"Hello?" You ask, picking up the phone. "Hey." A deep voice reverberates over the phone, and you know exactly who it is. "Jotaro." You say, an annoyed tone entering your voice. "How are you?" He asks you, and you sigh, fidgeting with a pen on your desk. "I'm fine, Mr. Kujo. How about you?" Your smile has a bitter tone to it, and Jotaro can sense it through the phone. "I'm fine, thank you." He replies, and you two sit in silence for a few seconds before Jotaro proposes a question that shatters your thoughts.

"Would you like to come to dinner tonight?" Jotaro asks, and you tense up at the question.

Dinner with Jotaro? After your divorce and everything, he wants to go for dinner? So, suddenly, he has time for you now?

"Jotaro, I--" You start, but Jotaro cuts you off again. "Jolyne misses you, you know." Jotaro sighs, and you smile at the name.

Jolyne, your wonderful daughter. You tried to make it easy on her when you had to explain to her that you and Jotaro, Daddy as she called him, weren't getting along anymore and you didn't want to be with him anymore. She cried all night, and you stayed by her side, nursing her, whispering in her ear to try to get her to laugh, and stroking her hair while she whimpered, Jotaro being too busy dealing with Haruno Shiobana to even care for his own daughter.

"Fine. If Jolyne will be there, I'll come." You reply, and Jotaro sighs. "What time?" He asks, and you stare at the clock on your desk. "Five thirty will be fine." You say, and Jotaro writes something down on a piece of paper. "Alright." He finalizes. After a few awkward seconds of silence on the line, you say goodbye. "Goodbye, Miss L/N." You hear a twinge of regret and anger in Jotaro's deep voice before he hangs up the phone, leaving you to your thoughts.

I really don't need him. He finally wants to come back into my life, or try to anyways, after I get a dancing career that I love and enjoy. I'm going to this dinner for Jolyne, and Jolyne only. I miss my daughter, and I miss our time together. Trying not to shed tears over all of your scripts and paperwork, you stand up and head to your dancing bar, practicing for your next performance.

------------------

Five thirty. The time has arrived, and you just finished curling your hair. You stand in the mirror, admiring yourself and making sure everything's in place. You sport a white dress you wore at your last awards ceremony; gold glitter runs down the flowy sleeves and the dress, and your star earrings remind you of Jotaro's deep sea green eyes, staring into yours just last Christmas. He gifted you these exact earrings, and kissed you on the cheek, smirking under his hat.

Sighing, you shake your head, and grab your purse, closing the door to your penthouse and walking outside.

Jotaro sits there in his car, waiting for you, and you can see Jolyne's buns sticking up in the back seat. Smiling, you knock on Jolyne's window before she realizes who you are and she screams at the realization. "Mommy!" She yells, and Jotaro winces. Flinging the door open, Jolyne giggles and jumps into your arms as you spin her around.

"Hey, JoJo!" You smile, kissing her cheeks. "You look so pretty on the stage when you dance, Mommy! Daddy blushes all the time!" She giggles, and Jotaro says nothing, blushing as he checks his phone. You stare at him before shaking your head and smiling. "Really? Well thank you, butterfly." You smile as you drop her down in the backseat and close the door.

Sliding into the front seat, you place your purse down on the car floor and run a hand through your hair.

"You look nice." Jotaro's deep voice snaps you out of your thoughts, and you nod. "Thank you, Mr. Kujo. You look handsome yourself." You reply. He's wearing a white and black suit, and his hat is actually off this time, revealing his jet black hair. His green eyes sparkle in the Mediterranean sunset, and you look away, trying not to blush.

Starting the car, Jotaro puts his strong hands on the steering wheel, and the car starts to move. You two sit in silence for most of the ride, only when Jolyne starts a conversation between you two. "Mommy? Blue or purple for the girls dress?" Jolyne asks, currently playing a dress-up game on her tablet. "Uhh, I'd probably go with purple." You smile, and Jolyne nods. "What about you, Daddy?" She asks Jotaro, and Jotaro clears his throat.

He's not used to conversations that are for fun, and you and him both know that.

"I agree with Mommy. Purple's nice." He replies, and you giggle under your breath.

-----after the dinner------

Jolyne's knocked out cold, and Jotaro piles her into her car seat before heading around to the drivers side and stepping into the car. Silence stretches throughout the vehicle, and you and Jotaro sit quietly in the cold air the car provides.

"Y/N." Jotaro asks, and you stare at him, his green eyes on you.

"Can we give this another chance?" He asks, and his deep voice actually sounds sincere this time. Sighing, you push a curl out of his face, and shake your head.

"Mr. Kujo. I appreciate your moves to try to bring us together, but it's over. I've found my happiness in life, dancing, and I'd rather be dancing in front of millions of people, than try to stay with you, and be ignored. You're busy with work, and that's understandable, but I'd want to be taken care of and noticed, like I took care of you and noticed you. So, I decline, Mr. Kujo. Too late now." You say calmly, and Jotaro tenses up at your declination.

"Fine." He replies harsly, and he starts the car, driving you home. He doesn't mutter another word, and you don't either. Once you arrive at your penthouse, you step out of the car, and close the door. "Oh, and Mr. Kujo?" You knock on the window, and he rolls it down. "What?" He replies, his voice seething. "Pay attention to Jolyne, please. That's the least you could do." You say, and wave at him. Jotaro curses under his breath, and drives away.

Sighing, you watch his car go, and enter your house.

I've moved on, and you should too, Mr. Jotaro Kujo. Focus on our daughter and mending your ways, then maybe we can talk.
