sunshine and baby boy || doppio x reader || requested!

"You ready, Bella? Hmmm? Yeah, yeah!" Doppio speaks sweetly to your dog, rubbing its soft fur furiously as the little puppy barks and wags its tail in excitement. Giggling, you take a picture of Doppio currently prying the little dog off of his pink curls. "Ow." Doppio groans, placing the little pup on the ground as he hooks the leash on him.

"Ready, sunshine." Doppio gives you a big smile, and you can't help but smile back, grabbing his free hand as you lace your fingers around his. The pink-haired young adult blushes and giggles as he leads you out of your shared apartment and to the sidewalk.

"It's a nice day out today, isn't it, sunshine?" Doppio asks, wrapping his scarf around his neck a bit tighter. "Cold, but yes." You giggle, and Doppio takes off his purple jacket, putting it around your shoulders. "Is that better, sunshine?" He asks sweetly, concerned for your safety; you can see the worry swimming around in his brown eyes, and you laugh, blushing. "It's a lot better, thank you, baby boy." You smile, and Doppio blushes at the pet name, rubbing his neck sheepishly.

You, your boyfriend, Doppio, and your new dog, Belladonna, decided to go for a walk in the cold Italian morning today, and enjoy the scenery. It is beautiful, with the sun shining down on the cold churning waters of the Mediterranean. It's quiet in the part of Italy where you two live, and its enjoyable to walk the streets in silence with small jokes and sweet nothings whispered in between the two of you.

"Here." You smile, pushing a strand of Doppio's pink hair out of his face, and he blushes, smiling. "Thank you! It was getting annoying." He pouts, squatting down to pick up the puppy. She stopped walking a while ago, and she got tired. "She's just like a baby." You giggle, scratching behind her ears. She barks happily and nuzzles her face in Doppio's chest, closing her eyes.

"Awww, she's sleeping." Smiling, you take a small picture, and Doppio laughs, patting the puppy's head softly. Leaning your head on Doppio's shoulder for a split second, you stick an Airpod in your boyfriend's ear, and he looks at you, confused. "What are you doing?" Doppio asks, and you smile, clicking the song Tek It in your Liked Songs.

"Playing our song." You smile, and Doppio's face lights up at that, a smile spreading across his face and his brown eyes lighting up with adoration and nostalgia. "Awww." He melts, and you giggle happily, leading your boyfriend over to a bench in front of the shining sea. Belladonna ruffles at the sudden change of position, being put on the bench beside Doppio, but falls back into sleep quickly.

"This song means so much to me." Doppio smiles, and you stare at him, blushing. "Why?" You ask, and Doppio blushes too, laughing as he stares down at Belladonna. "It reminds me of you." He smiles, staring at you with a warmth and fondness in his eyes.

Leaning in, you plant your lips on Doppio's, tracing his sharp jawline and rubbing his blushed cheeks with your hand. Doppio snakes his arms around your waist and leans into the kiss, pressing himself against you. Pulling away, you give him a tight hug, and he reciprocates it, smiling into your neck. "I love you, sunshine." He mumbles, and you laugh, tickled by his warm breath. "I love you more, baby boy." You kiss his forehead, and he smiles, pulling away.

"I watch the moon, Let it run my mood; can't stop thinking of you.~" Doppio smiles as you sing the lyrics, staring at him with love and affection as you kiss his cheek. "I'm kinda getting hungry." You say after singing your heart out, and Doppio can't hold back his laughter, sighing as he tucks loose strands of hair behind his ear.

"You're so silly, sunshine." He smiles, and you giggle, shrugging. "What can I say?" You boast proudly, and Doppio shakes his head, giggling again. "We can go home and cook dinner together." Doppio says, reaching for Belladonna; she's awake from her small nap, and she's ready to get walking, her tail wagging fifty miles per hour.

"Okay." You smile, and stand up, reaching for Doppio's hand; he blushes, but gives it to you anyway, interlocking your fingers with his. "What would you like for dinner tonight, sunshine?" Doppio questions, staring at you with his head cocked to the side. "I want chicken alfredo." You say, and Doppio nods, spacing out as he thinks about something.

"Okay." He smiles, and you smile back at him, starting the walk back to your home.

"Dinner was amazing tonight, baby boy." You compliment, leaning your head on your boyfriend's chest. "I'm glad you enjoyed it, sunshine. tried to make it just the way you like it." Doppio blushes, and you place a finger on his lips, shutting him up. "Leave "tried" out of it. You did wonderful." You kiss his lips and Doppio melts under you, humming pleasantly. "You're so nice to me." Doppio smiles, and you smile, kissing his neck. "You deserve it all, Doppio." You kiss his neck again, and he bites his lip, blushing.

"Would you read me quotes from the book you're reading right now? I like hearing your soft voice before I go to bed." You smile, closing your eyes as you lay your head in Doppio's lap. A surprised grunt comes from him, but he giggles, nodding. "Okay." He obliges, and grabs Romeo and Juliet from his bedside table.

Doppio clears his throat politely, and flips through the pages until he stops on the page with a pink sticky note."My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep; the more I give to thee, the more I have, for both are infinite."  His voice is soft and melodic, a flutter in your heart. "I like that one a lot." You smile, pulling your legs up to your chest.

"Me too; it's very sweet. It reminds me of you." Doppio blushes, brushing strands of hair out of your face as he runs his soft hand under your jawline. "Everything reminds you of me, baby boy." You smile, and he laughs, his voice soft and quiet. "I know. You're everything good, wholesome, and pure. To me, anyways." He blushes even more, and you giggle at his shyness. "Awwww, thank you." You smile, and Doppio laughs again, continuing to read his quotes.

"Then move not, while my prayer's effect I take. Thus from my lips, by yours, my sin is purged." He reads, staring down at you with stars in his eyes. "I adore you." He hums, and you giggle, blushing. "Oh, Doppio." You sigh, and sit up to kiss his lips. He sighs in admiration and reads another quote.

"I defy you, stars." Doppio quotes, and he hums, closing his eyes. "Oh, I love that one." He smiles contently, and you nod slowly, closing your eyes. "Here's the final one, sunshine." He whispers, and you nod, opening your eyes to see your boyfriend stare down at you with happiness in his brown eyes.

"But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun!---Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, who is already sick and pale with grief, that thou her maid art far more fair than she." He finishes, and stares down at you to find you asleep on his lap. "Good night, Y/N." He kisses your forehead tenderly, and tucks you under the blankets, placing his book on his bedside table and cuddling you as he falls asleep with you. "Night, Doppio." You mumble, snuggling into his arms.

Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow.
