Chapter 10

Y/n's POV

Damn right I wanted to go, I wasn't going to just sit there and do nothing.

"Corey, tell us what we need to get" I said eager. He just looked at me, "don't just stand there, we need to do it!" I yelled and broke down.

I quickly walked out of the house and started to unlock the gate, I ran down the street.

"Y/n! come back please!" Elton was calling after me.

I was just in a mind set of not wanting anything but to get Colby back. I wanted to block everything out of my head except for Colby.

I'm not sure how far I ran but I felt two strong arms grab me and pull me, I screamed. "Shh, shh, it's just me, it's okay... breathe" Elton soothed as he held me in his embrace.

Elton was always there when something happened, he found a way to calm me down. Not sure how but he has that dad, uncle-ish feeling to him.

I guess that's why they call him Uncle Elton. We sat down on the curb and I just cried into his shoulder as he was rubbing my back.

I heard footsteps approach us, "Y/n... i'm so sorry. We should've just listened to you. And I know you probably aren't feeling the best right now cause your upset but were about to do it. Everything is set out." Aaron told me as he squatted down next to us.

I smiled at him and pulled away from Elton. "I'm sorry, i'm just emotional and tired after everything. I shouldn't have left like that." I said standing up and wiping my tears.

"No need to apologize, we know how you feel. Corey feels terrible for not saying anything-" I cut Aaron off by running back to the house.

Corey, oh no, He thinks it's his fault? I was just impatient and scared. I was upset but not at him.

Once I got back to the house I ran straight into the kitchen. "Corey i'm sorry, it's not your fault. I shouldn't have lashed out on you and ran. I was just upset and angry as to why he had to take Colby from us" I said walking up to him.

"Its okay Y/n, we should have just started instead of waiting, we have to do this as soon as we can" He said with a small smile.

Jake and Sam smiled at me when Aaron and Elton came back to the house. They were out of breath "Why- never mind forget it, let's get Colby back" Corey said with a little laugh.

We lined Colby's body with Candle's and made a line to the Ouji board and around us. We had to get as much candle light as possible.

"Sam can you turn the lights off?" Corey asked as Sam got up and turned them off. "Okay, so... you know how to use a Ouji board right?" Corey asked turning to me.

I nodded and looked down at it. I had used one a long time ago and was kinda traumatized by it but I have to do this.

Earlier he told us that I had to prick my finger and wipe the blood on the board because I was the one who seen him.

"You ready?" Corey asked and before I could answer, Jake pricked my finger and caused me to just look at him with a rbf.

"Swipe it" Sam said looking at me.

I made a cross on the board with my blood and wiped the rest of a paper towel.

We all (9 people) put our fingers on the center piece and moved in a circle three times.

Corey looked at us and we nodded in agreement.
