Chapter 67

Y/n's POV

"I want to know it all, what's happened since I've been gone. Everything, you and Maddie, the new house in Vegas I heard about, the roomies.... what's gone on?" I asked and he took a breath.

"After you left that night, I walked upstairs with Maddie and laid her to sleep in her bassinet beside the bed and kept overthinking everything. The next couple days after that, I tried to get up and have energy. Some days I was okay, others I wasn't and so I started looking for a therapist because I realized I was depressed" he said.

"When I started going, I was able to talk to her about everything and she wrote a referral to take anti depressants that I started getting addicted to. At first, I took then normally and decided to rely on them, I locked myself in my room some days to just cry and take the meds after sneaking them" he continued.

It really did fuck him up.

"The night before it happened, I took them from Alex's room since she was in charge of them and I waited until I had the courage to do it. I didn't think I took that many but turns out I took almost the whole bottle" he told me.

"Tara found me passed out on the floor and that's when I woke up in a mental hospital" he said and I frowned.

"Im sorry I did that to you" I said and his face questioned my words as he started shaking his head and holding his hands out.

"What? No you- I deserved to be left... I cheated on you Y/n" he said and I nodded.

"There could've been something else to work instead of me leaving the state and going across the country" I told him.

"You did what you needed to and we all learned a lesson from it" he said and hesitated, "besides OD'ing" I added and he nodded.

"I regret it, and I don't regret many things in life but I do regret that because I could've made a different move and stayed strong" He told me.

Maddie started crying so he handed her to me and luckily, I was still producing milk so I looked up at him.

"Want me to...?" He trailed off and I shook my head. "No, no, your good to stay there" I said and sat her in my lap as I undid my bra and pulled my shirt up enough to hold her under so she could eat.

It was a bit painful at first and I winced at the feeling. "Are you okay?" Colby asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah she's just biting down with her gums and it's tender" I said and he laughed a little bit.

"She likes to chew her paci's so yeah, she might nibble a bit" he said and I smiled.

"So... tell me about milestones she's had" I said and he threw our wrappers and bowl in the trashcan near us.

"She started cooing shortly after you flew out, she has yet to say her first word but hopefully you'll be here for that" he told me and I smiled.

I hope so.

"Her tummy time is still fantastic and she learned quick so she can roll over and lift her head up already" he said and I widened my eyes.

"Wow really? That's amazing" I said excitedly and we both smiled.

"I'm pretty sure she knows faces now, or most of them anyway. Anytime she sees Sam or Elton she gets super excited, but she does that with all of the roommates" he said and I smiled.

"That's cute" I commented and he nodded. "With fandom, they all love her. She's in some of our videos if you haven't seen, she is very popular on YouTube" he said and I giggled.
