Chapter 11

Colby's POV

They said something about Y/n and I was curious. "What happened?" I asked as we ran back.

"She collapsed on us but we couldn't go back so she told us to go get you and she would go back to the girls" Sam breathed out.

He was stressing about this, I could see it in his eyes. "Okay, we will find her it's okay Sam don't stress it" I said in the calmest voice I could.

It kinda made me mad that they left her but I kept my cool.

We ran a little farther before I seen a puddle of blood. "Sam!" I yelled, my eyes started burning and he looked at me with wide eyes.

"SHIT!" we both yelled, running faster and following the small trail to where we found Y/n. Her body was cold and she lay in another small puddle, she still had a pulse though.

"Oh, fuck" Jake said when they caught up to us. "There is no time to waste, we have to get her to a hospital" Sam said as I picked her up.

Tears were forming at the brim of my eyes but I couldn't stop running with Y/n in my arms.

The guys were trailing behind me and I soon seen the rest of the girls.

Tara's POV

Me, Kat and Devyn have been here for a while, the guys hadn't made it back.

We were just sitting at the beginning of the trance waiting for them.

"Uhh, girls" I said not taking my eyes off of the sight in front of me.
"Yeah?" they both asked but then stop when they saw what was in front of us.

It was Colby, he was holding Y/n in his arms. Running towards us, "shit what happened?" I asked him.

He frantically spoke, too fast for us to understand. "Colby, it's gonna be okay but I need you to explain slower" I said trying to comfort him.

I seen a tear slip out of his eyes and I knew he wouldn't say anything. I just rub his back for a minute until the boys got up there.

"We need to go, NOW" Devyn said sternly. The boys nodded and we opened the trance back up.

"Walk in and sit at your spot, then we will be back" Corey said as we walked out of the portal like thing.

We sat down and Sam had to help hold up Y/n. Colby didn't want to leave her but he was only a few feet away.

"Colby, let her go" Sam said in a whisper. And that's what he did, he laid down and we got in the formation from before.

Corey lifted his hand and snapped us back to reality, we were back but Y/n was still unconscious.

"Okay all of you, in the car" I said shooing them outside grabbing Y/n's keys. She in Colby's arms.

We got into Y/n's car since it was the biggest and Colby got in the back with her, Sam and Elton. Kat, Jake, Corey and Aaron were in the middle row and Devyn and I up front.

The car ride was silent until Aaron spoke, "Why did that happen to Y/n? Why not someone else?" he asked.

Corey shrugged "Ive never seen it happen to anyone" he replied. I was in deep thought the rest of the drive, not listening to anyone's conversations.

We soon pulled up to the hospital and we ran into the ER entrance, "Hey! we need help out here! emergency!" Corey yelled walking into the back.

Soon, a nurse came out with Corey and her eyes immediately fell to Colby sitting in the floor over Y/n, crying.

"What happened?" She asked as she grabbed one of the gurneys.

"Were not sure, we were exploring and she fell behind, said she was gonna go with the rest of the group. But she passed out and never made it back" Kat spoke up.

I nodded, "she has a cut on her torso" I added.

We put Y/n on the bed and Colby couldn't leave her side. "Sir i'm gonna need you to back up, you can't come back during examination" the nurse said.

"Your worried about examination when she is unconscious!?" He yelled at her.

"We are going to get her back up but you cant come back" she hissed. Colby walked away but she was pissing me off.

"Okay yeah we know, go" I said to her and she rolled her eyes, walking away.

"What a bitch, we're just trying to make sure Y/n is okay" Kat said and I just walked to Colby.

He was sitting in a chair with his head in his hands, stressing. "Hey Colby" I said sitting next to him.

I knew this was bothering him but i'm not sure what to do so I tried to comfort him.

"It'll be okay, she will be up in a little bit, we will figure i-" "Sorry Tara but Sam and I need to speak. Alone." he cut me off getting up.

"Yeah for sure brother" Sam said nervously. "Good luck" Corey whispered loudly.

Colby's POV

"Sorry Tara but Sam and I need to speak. Alone" I said through my teeth.

I know she told them to go but I  could've waited to be saved, she is my top priority no matter if i'm in trouble.

Sam was following me out to the parking lot. "What the fuck Samuel" I said turning to him, he looked at me confused.

"Don't fucking look at me like that. You let her go, took her word over the thought of knowing she is all that matters to me now. You could've stayed with her!" I yelled causing him to jump back.

"Okay look, I should've stayed but you couldn't get back without us" He said to me.

I laughed and looked at him dropping my emotions, "Whatever the deal is, she comes before me. Always. It doesn't matter what issue I have, you save her before me" I hissed.

He sat down on the curb. "Colby, man, I know how you feel about this and yes I care about her and I wanted to stay back with her but Elton pulled me to get you. When she went down and turned around and went to her. Elton pulled me away and I knew I had to finish this fast."

"I worked my ass off trying to run as fast as I could to get to you. That's so we could get Y/n back ASAP. So cool it and stop going off on me. I got you back the fastest so we are here quicker." He said to me, he stood up while talking and had his finger pointed on my chest.

"You don't get to go off on me for saving your ass to get here faster, go sit down or something and shut the fuck up. Stop worrying about every thing else, worry about Y/n she needs you right now" He said.

Sam and I never fought but he won the battle now. He is right, I need to calm down and only worry about her.

He walked off and left me standing in the lot with my thoughts. I sat down where Sam originally was and just thought about her for a while.

That's when Elton walked out "Colby!" calling my name and I looked up at him.

"Come on, they got her examined and she is awake" He said. That's when I rushed in to go to her.
