Chapter 53

Elton's POV

"3...2...1!" Y/n yelled, pulling my blindfold off. I was stood in front of the couch in the garage, topped with what seemed to be a baby onesie, shoes, tests and a picture.

It took me a second to realize it would only have been Ginger's. Wait- Ginger's... IM GOING TO BE A DAD!

I let realization in and pulled her in for a tight hug, swaying back and forth. I had tears streaming down my face and staining her grey shirt.

This can't be real. Wait, yes it can. It is. Im gonna be a dad. I smiled at the thought and didn't let go of her.

I could hear all of the roommates behind us snapping pictures and cheering.

"Oh my god! I'm gonna be a dad! WHOO!" I called out loudly and they all smiled and cheered for me.

After pulling away from Ginger I looked her in the eyes before kissing her.

"We're gonna be parents" she said in a happy tone when we pulled away. "Parents babe! We are gonna have a mini one of us" I said grateful for this news.

I got a hug from the rest of the roommates and we spent the rest of the night telling people.

4 days later
Ginger's POV

Elton and I were on our way to the doctor for an update on the baby. It was currently 9AM and our appointment was 9:15.

It's been 4 days since I announced to Elton and the roommates that I was pregnant. It's still so unreal but everyone is extremely happy and excited for us.

"Babe, we're here" Elton said, dragging me out of my thoughts. "Yayyy" I squealed and he giggled.

He pulled into a parking spot and got out, opening my door and letting me out. As we started walking into the building, his phone rang.

"Shit- hello?" He asked into the phone, putting it on speaker.

"Yo, what are you doing today?" A voice that sounded like Matt said. "I'm with Ginger, we have an appointment for the baby" he said and then Matt apologized and they hung up.

We continued to walk in, to the front desk. "Ginger Ranne, its my 10 week checkup" I told her and she smiled and told me there would be someone to come get us shortly.

I sat down next to a very smiley Elton and I giggled at him. "Your goofy" I said and he placed a hand on my thigh, I put my hand on top of his.

We sat there in silence for maybe 10 minutes when a voice said my name. I stood up and grabbed Elton's hand to pull him up from his seat.

"Hi! I'm going to be looking at your baby today, taking pictures and do you know how far along you are?" She asked me and I smiled.

"10 weeks" I replied and she led us to a room down the hall, it was a typical size.

"Okay, I'm going to have you pull your waist band to your lower hip line, and your shirt to the bottom of your ribs. It gives a better look at baby" she told me and I nodded, laying down and doing what she said.

Elton stood to the left of me and we both looked to my right at the monitor.

"May be a little cold" she warned before putting the gel on my lower stomach. I winced at it and Elton laughed at me.

"Who do we got here with you today?" She asked as she looked up from putting the gel away.

"My boyfriend of almost 5 years" I told her and a smile grew.

"Aw, cute. Okay, let's get a look at your little one" she said while setting the hand piece on my stomach.

We watched the monitor and my eyes widened at what I seen. "Did you know?" Elton asked and he obviously seen it as well.
